Just another grower

We are at the start of week 5 and the girls are looking good. All are praying and have started to focus on bud development.
Some are slightly nutrient burnt but that was expected when the EC is 2,1.
I will lower the A and B this week and add some PK boost, but will keep the EC the same.

I can definitely start smelling some difference between the phenos, 1 or 2 are really sticking out from the bunch. Too early to tell thou. And I have a cold so don't have the best nose right now.

The mothers are still alive and growing. They will need to provide some clones next weekend so will give them more attention this week.
I will start to water them every second day now so they are ready to provide some bigger clones.
That gives me 10-13 days to get the clones ready to be transplanted in to the flower tent. I will transplant directly in to the pots that I have in flower right now. I will just replace the top layer and what comes with when I remove the stump after chopping.

Got to cutting some clones today. All mothers provided 4 healthy clones, some a little bit too "woody" for my liking but I guess they will be okey.
I didn't manage to order jiffy plugs in time so had to get some from the store, the quality feels lower but they have surprised me before.
The plan is to have hem rooted in about 12 days and then transplant them in to the 4L pots to get ready for flowering directly.
No veg time this time either, since the stretch was crazy this round. They stretched 6-7 times their initial height, from 7-10cm to 60-75cm.

The flower run is on cruse mode, not much to do then to change the reservoir once a week.
We are at week 6 now so started to taper down the EC to 1,5. I will reduce it more next week and then 7-10 days just water.

So far im not super impressed by the morphology of the phenos. It produces a lot of leaf in the buds and the node spacing is long.
The smell on the other hand on 2 phenos are amazing, reminds me of opening a package of bubble gum as a kid. 2 of the phenos are more chemical cleaning supply smell. and the other ones are producing nothing so far. I still have a cold so it might be just me.

Some pictures for show,

Day 43 since flip to 12/12 and everything is cruising along. I definitely burnt some of the phenos but I have lowered the EC to 1,5 and will lower it more next time. I plant to change the rez mid week as well so will be down to 1,2EC by the end of the week.
2 of the ladies might be done in 7 days but I will have to wait until a majority of the phenos are done. I would expect that to be with in 10-20 days. So will continue feeding this week and then just plain RO.

She might be done in 7 days and have a mellow sweet candy smell,

This one have a green leaf in the middle of the bud, More citrus/orange smell but nothing amazing. She probably have more towards 14 day in her left.

This is the one I been calling a mutant. I don't think it is a mutation but that she is rather finicky to work with. Under some conditions she produces proper leafs and under others she goes for the duck feet shapes.

A selection have been made and clones planted.
The winners are:

NR1 - Good bud stacking and side branches that almost reaches as high as the top. A bit of chemical grapefruit smell and som sweetness in the background.
IMG_2128.jpeg IMG_2129.jpeg

NR#4 - Small round buds, not so good stacking but the smell is sweet with a hint of rotten. Mmm sound delicious
IMG_2128.jpeg IMG_2131.jpeg

NR#6 Simular structure as Nr 4 but a little bit prettier buds. This one is just sweet with a hint of grapefruit.
IMG_2132.jpeg

NR#7 Gave me a nanner on the top cola but I assume it was to close to the light. No pollen released and only one nanner. This one got some purple in her and is really frosty. smells linger towards grapes with a hint or rotten in the background.

New clones was transplanted today, 2 of each Pheno. I only have space for 8 in my little veg chamber but 10 in the flower tent so might throw 2 more in when the flower tent is empty.
The new clones have been feed with 1,4EC. and will have a dry back until getting more. I guess that will promote root dev better than last time.
The clones got a bit of yellow leafs from the coco plugs I used but they will bounce back until next week when flower starts.
I cut them all down to just the top in hope of not having to do any more trimming. I guess I will have to cut a few branches of at around week 3 any way.

Not a great first run. Burnt them with the nutrient and too much nitrogen. I didn't take in to consideration how much N it is in the cal/mag.
We live and we learn.
No larf, only a few B grade buds and the rest tops. So it was easy to trim.
