This is Sk#1 x Animal Cookies/ Chocolope. The cops destroyed the mother plant. I never even got to smoke it except for a winter grown test plant. The high of this cookie cross was amazing unlike many new ones.View attachment 5420430View attachment 5420431View attachment 5420433View attachment 5420434View attachment 5420435
To be fair animal cookies is one of the few cookie crosses I rate I find most are too weak as well for me but that one's nice no day ender for me but better potency than most

The police took it. As far as I know no clones I gave out survived. So it's just one more of my genetics the world will probly never see. A good one too.

Things are coming along. The two in 1 gal. are getting STS. Farmers Daughter in the corner not pumping resin like the tall pheno I gave to a buddy. Nice to see and smell skunk#1 again. I have no complaints at all about the buzz of this sweet line! This is one of the skunkman's greatest gifts, one that was underappreciated at the time by many. This skunk line is so good. I call it the Royal skunk because it is from Dave Watson and not hybridized. It is an awesome breeding tool. I am lucky to have worked with it and even though the police took my best hyIMG_20240904_233646.jpgIMG_20240905_001320.jpgIMG_20240904_233659.jpgbrid I can recreate that work now. By using IBl's I can still make good seed. My best, sweetest and most commercial cross was with a strain that has changed over the years I think, inbred from it's f1 on.Nirvana Northern Lights.

It is amazing how many genetics have Skunk,Afghani, Northern Lights#5 and Haze in them. I am lucky to have grown up smoking the Mexicans, Colombians and Lebanese hash plus all the exotic things that occasionally popped up. I certainly will never forget the first Skunk nuggets I ever scored in 1980 or 1981. I wonder if it came from seeds from the Skunkman and where it came from. My dealer may have grown it himself. Or it came with a schwag load.

I love a good sativa. Especially sweet ones. There's one I last saw in a photo in Ecuador after they legalized. I hope it still exists. I got something like it in highschool. Bright green limey stuff with real sativa traits. I was drooling looking at the photo. In the future I think the work of Ace and other landrace sativa breeders is going to be on the menu if the gov. will stop persecuting people here now that it's legal.

I grew some Nirvana NL plants in a coldframe last winter as an experiment. I ran across a sublime terpy purple that was unlike any other of that line which has all been green plants so far. I am sad to say I got greedy at harvest time and did not leave enough for the reversion to take.

The buds have gotten fat quickly. I gotta say...she's always been my favorite. I couldn't afford Jack Herer back then and definitely cannot now. I sprayed Jacks DB tonight for the thrips.I have not had a problem with this type of thrip before. I hate spraying but this time it is warranted. IMG_20240927_003650.jpgIMG_20240927_003638.jpg
