Hello everybody,
Im Half-step, most of you probably dont know me.
I mostly am on the bbay forums, but sub is one of my favorite breeders, and I figured it's finally time to make an account here.

Im grow organically in soil, currently have a few things goin on.
About to start me first breeding projects, hopefully get a couple good males.
I grow indoors and outdoors. Currently working on both.

So, I've been growing for maybe 10 years, indoor for maybe 6.

I have medical issues of pain, anxiety, mostly pain. I have 2 bulging disks, 5 herniated, nerve damage, muscle spasms, spine is just shot mostly.
Been in 20 or so car accidents, some bad skating and skiing injuries from when I was a little younger, but the worst was a fall off a second story balcony direct onto concrete on my head; no catching that fall, only marks I had was a brushburn on 1 cheek and a crushed in skull, needed emergency brain surgery, to relieve the pressure, etc, and got 2 titanium plates now and a nice scar on my head in the hair, and temple.

So, I like hybrids and indica dominant strains mostly, for medicinal purposes, but also like sativas too sometimes. As JTR is one of my alltime favs, and thats sativa dom, but more than that, i dont really like.

So, my favorite breeders at the moment, are: TGA, Bodhi, Dynasty, Outlaw, and also like Gooeybreeder, Loran, Beanho, ISP, Sonic, Karma, Outlaw(retired), Elite (retired), and some private smaller pollen chuckers that have made some great stuff like pollenjock and my buddy Digger who made the 321 Kush that I love.
Thats a cross of 2 Outlaw strains [(Triple OGK x DPD) x Magic Merlin]
Now, the Triple OGK is by Orgnkid who also created Banana OG, and others you've heard of. DPD is Sunnycheeba's creation when working with TGA/subcool, and is a P75 of the Black Russian male(Cherry AK47 cut x Nebu's Blackberry), with the original outcross to sub's A13 cut. The first cross of (A13 x BR) was "Sputnik 1.0", then Sputnik 1.0 was used to make "Sputnik 2.0" by taking a male of it and making an A13 P75. Also a keeper Sputnik1.0 was hit with the BR male again, making Double Purple Doja, one of my favorite purps Ive had in crosses, and a true purple strain, Anything with Doja always turns beatiful colors. This project of the Sputnik 2.0 was sub's first backcross of A13, until he found and used his SQ F1 male "The dude". Now he has A13 bx, which he like better. As far as I know, I heard sub lost the BR male, or maybe it was sunny's, I dunno, but I wish it were still around, along with the Doja. I could only imagine it crosse with BCS, Querkle, Urkle, Bloodwreck, Bubba, etc.
Magic Merlin is (GDP x DPD), when sub dropped the DPD out of his line, Outlaw was given permission to work the DPD, and he did an amazing job. Found a great male, and hit lotsa good moms. I've got to try Gorilla Grape (Urkle x DPD), Dojaberry (pre-2000 DJ Short BB x DPD), and crosses with Magic Merlin, and actually a cross of MM & GG called Magic Monkey, by another friend.

So, until recently I had a partner, but Im on my own now. We popped a bunch of beans before we parted ways, so I have my moms and a ton of vegging seedlings that some still need sexing, and some will go outside, and some will go to my next indoor locale, as Im currently in between places that I can live and grow at. Less than a month. I've made S1s before, but haven't worked with male, until now. I've been wanting to try my hand at breeding for awhile now, and finally, now without a partner, do whatever I want, so Im now gonna always keep my males, and at least F2 my seeds I run, and make some crosses along the way. Ill list some stuff I have in flower from seed in a minute.

Anyway, I currently have in flower: of my big bushes of my moms:

2 Mocholope V2 by Dynasty (Oregon Afghani x Chocholope bx), Chocholope bx is Prof P's from Dynasty's cut of Chocolope from 40 beans, hit with a male of Eskobar's "Chocolate Rain" (Amsterdamn coffe shop Chocolope cut x DJ Short's Cocoa Kush), then the progeny hot to the Oregon Afghani mom to Make Mocholope V2.
1 "(Devilberry x Strawberry Creme)" by Pollenjock - Devilberry is by Cannasuer/pistils, and is (Krowberry x DPD), Krowberry is (GDP x Marionberry), Marionberry is (Thai/Bubblegum x Blackberry)
1 "Dojaberry" by Outlaw, again, (BB x DPD), Ive had this before, not the others, and it produces pink/magenta buds that are so amazingly tasty and still very potent. true purple strain.

Males: (1 of each):
"Goji OG" by Bodhi (Nepali OG x Snow Lotus), SL or Snow Lotus is (Afgooey x Blockhead) with no SWT traits.
"White Lotus" by Bodhi (The White x SL)
"Moonwalk" by Bodhi (Chem #3 x Apollo 11 genius pheno male)

Then from seed, everything is in my signature atm.

welcome to riu. good to see some experience added! i just gained some interest in bodhi seeds, have you had any experience with lucky charms? the strain caught my eye.....

No, I haven't had any experience, but Bodhi says that if your looking for something closer to The White, then Lucky Charms over White Lotus, which is what Im running currently.
As of now, I've only run 1 Bodhi strain, Wookie, which is (Big Buddy's Lavender x Appalachia). That was realeased a bit back, and Bodhi no longer has that mom, lost it in a heatwave with a bunch of other great moms and dads, and now his Appalachia male is also lost, I think he has pollen left, as he's been putting out new crosses and lost it awhile ago, but Im not sure on that one. I do know, if you want an Appalachia cross, get it now, cuz they wont be around much longer.
The wookie I had was quite good, still have the mom. I have grow and smoke reports up at bbay, but ill post up stuff from my last indoor grow up here when i get a chance. That would be all of my current moms. all in my sig. Ill get em up eventually.

As far as Lucky Charms, run that shit, its gonna be real heady.
This is my first big Bodhi run w/ multiple strains from seed, which I listed all above, and Im also running a Yo Mama cross by my buddy called Pink Mama, which is TGA's unreleased Black Dahlia (Black Cherry Soda x Querkle) x Bodhi's Yo Mama (Afgooey x Appalachia). I got a few different YM x's and F2s I cant wait to run, and 100 other things. heh.

Bodhi's gear is top notch, sometimes his gear has high male rates, but the females that you get are amazing. I mean really good. Sub has been my favorite breeder for years, but since Ive been getting into Bodhi, I think he has the possiblity to take my #1 spot with some of the lines. I have a decent amount of SL crosses, a few Appy, and a few others.

Looking really forward to crossing the White Lotus and Goji OG both to My Qush phenos, I think they'd make great hybrids, if I picked good males that is, Ill find out soon. My moonwalk male smells of limes, thats cool.

thank you for the info halfstep, it is mucho appreciato'ed! lol well to say the least you got me so stoked on the bodhi strains that i germinated the gogi beans with all the other seeds that are going into my next grow. right now my current grow just began week 4 flower and the stables are holding delicious cotton candy and caramelo, g13 pineapple express and chocolate heaven plus great white north's hindu kush. i'm trying some new strains from jordan of the islands that will be going into the grow room next along with some other goodies.....i'm germ'ing joti purple kush and his blueberry cough and i figured that i would give bc bud depots girl scout cookies a try. now with all this bodhi talk i tossed the 2 goji's that i had in storage into the pot too. looks like i'm gonna buy a grow tent because i maxxed out on available room, i think thats better then hoping for males that i would toss away and get my room that way. lol. i want a tent to house some mothers anyway so this is the perfect excuse, justified too! lol cant wait to get this one going! then half of the excitement is picking what i'm going to be growing next. i am placing some plushberry into this order for sure, i'd like to get some sincity sinmints but i'd also like to try soo much more! i'm really loving the g13 genetics so with that in mind maybe blue venom??? i need a bigger garden!!! lol

I agree, I do write long posts, im keen on detail. But, whats your problem w/ me man? This is exactly why I waited this long to come over here, as I heard theres just a shitload of trolls and children and newbies, w/ not much experience, talking shit because they feel like it.. Wtf? I was coming over here to share my knowledge and hopefully gain some, and talk with people that run different genetics, as each forum seems to favor a certain vendor and in that, a handful of breeders, and therefor, limited line being grown out. I like to see other genetics from breeders Ive never tried, and can show people stuff Ive grown out if they've never seen it. Hopefully theres some organica gurus here too, but theres always new stuff to learn, and Im a genetic collecting addict when I have the cash to do so, so it'll be nice to see other grows of genetics Id never see over at the bay, for example, its very rare for anyone to grow fem'd seeds. Thats one simple one, and more poeple are turning to organics in soil like I do. And you never know when you are gonna make a new friend that can be beneficial to both parties.

Yes, actually, I stopped counting years ago, but I HAVE been in at least 15 if not 20 car accidents. Mostly me driving, falling sleep at the wheel at first when I was younger all fucked up, some other people driving, some just assholes that dont know how to drive causing accidents, a couple from bad weather as it gets all icey and we gets lots of snow in the winter where i am. my first accident I was 16-17, someone else driving. My last was maybe 6 months ago tops. But serious accidents that actually left permanant damage, probably about 4-5. A few others you may even consider fender benders, as nobody got hurt, but the car. So I could see if you thought I was talking all real bad accidents, then that would be a high number, i totally agree. But don't try calling me out on something you know nothing about, thats just ignorant. Any adult would agree. You're lucky you dont wake up every morning, when you can sleep, to feel like an old man more than twice your age, all the while, knowing it will only get worse. Ive tried so many things over the past 20+ years its ridiculous. Trust me, you dont want that. My spine is strait fucked. Thats the ony strait thing about it, heh.

If your really dont believe me, Ill take pics of my MRIs on my spine that show my bulging and herniated disks, just ask; If you really think Im full of shit. Im actually one of the most honest people I know, but whatever, really dont care what you think of me, your obviously not a chill person, or you would of responded something like, "Wow, 20 accidents, your lucky to be alive, etc. Im glad you are, gotta be careful on the road man. Im definitely buckling up if i ever ride with you, heh.". Thats the right attitude, if you want to respond. You dont even know my age, so how would you gauge that being a high #? Ill admit, it is for my age, and my car insurance is a bitch. It was much worse when i was still under 26 or 27, one of the 2, cuz thats the age cutoff for high-risk drivers, so its not as bad, but with my record its still very hard to even get insurance. Only way I did then was to be on my parent's insurance. Otherwise I wouldn't of had any.
SO, again, if you still dont believe me, I can at least produce my MRIs taken i wanna say 3 accidents ago, but i thought i got MRIS of my entire spine when I was out in the hospital after falling on my head in '08 and crushing in part of my skull, i think the damaged disks are mostly from that, at least the 5/6 herniated ones in a row in my thoracic, and I have 2 bulging, and another almost, in the base of my spine on the lowest disk in my lumbar and the connection of my lumbar to the S region(the last4-5 vertabrea in your tailbone) top vertabrea where it connects, and I atribute that to other things, like lifting too much, sports injuries, mostly extreme sprts, that I dont get to do anymore. But I really dont know whats from what as most of my injuries, other than my ast 3-4 accidents, that were all pretty minor, i could of went to the hospital, but im always in pain anyway, and if Im out driving, usually its because i have something important to do. So I didnt go to the hospital. I only went to the hospital for maybe 4-5 car accidents. Never hospitalized, for car accidents at least. The crushing in of the skull, and a few others I did, basically when I had no choice.
So dude, not trying to insult, or be a dick to you, just letting you know im not making this up. Why would I? seriously?
I dont lie, well rarely, and white lies almost always at that. But, especially about something like my injuries, here, which would have no gain I can think of. Why would I make that up? Im curious to what you think my possible motives for saying that would be.

Im honest, if you were a member of the bay, you'd know that.
For example, when gifted free beans direct from breeders to test, if they arent good, unlike most people, I say they arent good. I have all the good rep Id ever need at the bay and call it home, 3rd time on this site and I already run into a prick. I was hoping to be back on the same forum as sub again as he, bodhi, and most of the good breeders that exist, all went to bbay after overgrow was shut down. sub and pistils(bbay's owner/maintains the code) got in a gig fight, both felt the other betrayed them, sub's talked about it on the earlier weed nerd shows w/out naming names. Sub gave pistils his Space Dude male and pistils ended up apparently stealing a bunch of sub's stock and didn't pay him for a bunch of his gear. Apparently, long before that, before subcool/TGA was well-know, they made adeal that sub would only sell hid gear there, and it was for a long time. My expartener got to test JCII and Qleaner before relesed, before subs testing standarsds included being in a med state. That was the good old days when I could get TGA packs for $40, then after pistis did that shit, some things at the end went down to $25 of the old packs, not like they look now. They never used to come in vials or in a colorful folding pamphlet thing. Just a bag of seeds in black and white printing w/ that sticker of what is was on the baggie. Well, anyways, sub wanted to sell his gear at a couple other venues also, not just cannaseur, (bidzbay at the time), but he started to blow up, and got way more popular after he got his Space dude male and made JTR, Querkle, Vortex, etc. he had people wanting to sell his gear. He used other vendors, pistils kept the rest of the stock of subs and didnt pay him, and remember, sub was only getting $20 per pack of seeds, i dont know his deals with his current vendors, but at the prices they now sell at (%250 / 2.5X the price i used to get it for), i assume he gets more per pack. I highly doubt attitude & other current TGA vendors get $80 from selling a $100 pack, but again, I dont know.

As far as mine(my post above), that was my first post introducing myself to the community and basically who I am, where Im at in growing, and what im currently doing. If you think it looks like an ad, what am I trying to sell, myself? idk. But thats actually what it should look like, a proper introduction. Am I promoting something in my introduction, or just introducing myself? Thats what I thought I was doing. Thats how its usually done in any forum Ive been on. Mine might be more detailed, but whats wrong with that? I have a decent amount going o now too. I could of left that out, but its an introduction.
I love bbay cuz its all cool people and everyone is there to learn and respect eachother and help eachother out. Plus the breeders we get direct interaction with, which I miss having sub around. But, thats where he got famous, along with many other breeders who still call it home, like Bodhi, Professor P of Dynasty, Snowhigh, Sonic, Trichome Jungle, Karma, Gooeybreeder, BOG used to be there, etc. many more. Overgrow was the first site of this kind- cannabis forums with growers and breeders interacting, trading genetics, etc. BBay was#2 after overgrow got shut down. Great place, but we do have to occasionally root out trolls, and LEOs very rarely... i actually heard this site is quite full of both, but only one way to find out, right?

Hey man, whats up? Nice lineup you got going there, Im curious to see how they come out. Is the G13/pinapple Express Barney's gear? I have 1 PE fem by them, just a single freebie. Not really familiar w/ th JotI gear. Sounds interesting though, especially the hindu Kush. Im running a "Nor Cal Purple Kush IBL" by Loran, but its a little finicky and I found out itsd not what I though- not the Nor Cal PK cut made into seed form, but more an indica thats been around NorCal for a while, and doesnt always even go purple, but I like indicas and pure afghanis if their good, so we'll see. I think I have a freebie or 2 from deliscious also. Also very interested in seeing the BC Bud Depot's gear groen out. I hear they rip people off half the time and dont even send the seeds, Ive never tried theire gear. The one canadian company I wanna try gear from is NextGen, their Romulan crosses, Grapefruit, Diesle crosses, I realy want that Purple Pineberry, and the Timewarp, etc. Thos are all supposed to be great for outdoors and I dont know of anyone that works with thejm.

Yeah, that plushberry sounds real good. I got my last TGA gear on last 420(2012) attitude sale when TGA released "Qush", it was buy a 10-pack or 2 5-packs and get 1 5-pack of Qush. I wanted Plushberry bad, but Cheesequake too, and they only had 10-packs of Plushberry, so I opted to get the other BCS cross, Ace od Spades, and JTR was one of my favs anyway, so I knew itsd still be good, and it is. I got the AoS, Cheesequake and Qush, all great strains. I kept 2/3 of my Qush females, they're beautiful. Theres a bunch of new TGA gear and a couple old i wanna try bad, tut dont got the cash atm. I wish sub would do more bx's w/ his close only's, like make a Romulan bx, I never has the flav, realy want it. So many things. I wishhe would of hit Bubba with Querkle too. Im am really hsppy I know one of the people that got to test Black Dahlia and have some f3s of that, apparently stabelized. and also a cross with it called Pink Mama which is (Black Dahlia x Yo Mama), YM is a Bodhi line which is (Afgooey x Appalachia). I think I have females of both. The Pink mama is just gorgeous. Heres a couple pics grown by kaotic, bred by benny. enjoy the pics.
