Help! Bad genetics or bad grow?

So guys check out the pictures.

On the new leaves one side has 4 bigger finger leaves and one side has smaller very messy leaves. I've never seen an even number of leaf fingers before.

It just looks.....well very messy and not normal.

Plus it's growing very slowly it's now on day 13. I've don't this before a bunch of times in the same setting and usually by day 14 I'll have at least 3-4 nodes.

So am sure it's not the lights or anything like that.

When I did a pH test I put in water 6.5 and the run off came out at 5, so I reflush with water 7.0 and the run off came at 5.5. Now am just using 7.0 water, my soil is buffered at 5.5-6.5.

Any ideas guys?

I think its just genetics bro!

Had couple of retarded beans before..

Maybe it will get better by time, have seen alot of strange growth patterns on alot of different plants before but alot as well get okay by time.

Also from now and then some strange fingers fan leaves or missing fingers I see as well, 3/4 fingers blades..

I would just give it a time probably she will be okay..

Hey guys lol I can't believe I forgot to mention this but this is an auto sour diesel, and my humidity is most of the time 40rh. I know it suppose to be at 70.
Any advice on a diy way to get it up?

Indeed is an odd looking little plant.

I wouldn't run 70% if you made me. Bud mold is not the sheet. ;-)

53% is great for our vegs and 40's for flower. (HeadBand)

Add an uncovered bucket of water to the space for evaporation behind a fan if possible.
Fans on a timer spaced out a little?
Turn off exhaust fans or reduct and recirculate air?
Add heating pad under bowl of water in space cook off some vapors?

Did I just see Auto? Lot of work for half oz..

OK edited for correctness: Depends on the strain as far as RH goes and Personal tastes.

Fungus Gnat Breeding Pool...

I have had struggles with low rh myself...best solution was a room humidifier. I chose to go with door #2...said F it and stopped worrying about it.

Yeah I forget people still use soil and have bug issues in the grow space. ;-)

Well, I gave it a 'like' but I gotta say...soil growing does not equal bug infestations. I have zero fungus gnats or any other critters for that matter and always have and will grow in soil.

Here's an idea. Stop worrying about Ph so much. Soil is a natural buffer. Measure the soil's Ph and not the water you put into it. Measuring run off is a waste of time.

I have never checked run-off and don't give a...

about it's ph level. I don't use a PPM or EC meter...no bells and whistles. Soil allows me to identify an issue and more time to correct it. All you really need to know is how to listen to and communicate with your gurlz.

Looks like a dud to me. But the number of blades is irrelevant. Most of my ogs kick out 3s 4s and occasionally 6s.
