ive had a couple nosy friends.. "did you grow this?" famous question when someone gets nugs. i accidentally left bamboo stakes, a tomato cage and a co2 tank in my living room one time i came home from the hydro store.. homie came over and immediately " i didnt know you grow!"
i froze up... after mumbling trying to get him to forget about it.. i decided to show him my spare bedroom with my 4x4 tent with 2 moms in it. he did the whole " ohhh, thats cool" as if he was disappointed that im a noob with 2 plants that dont look healthy lol.
you live in canada.. where everyone grows weed for a living, let alone a closet grow. if your worried about him snitching on you.. sit him down and show him the whole thing, chances are he wont be amazed by a few plants, then tell him that your trusting him with a big secret and if he runs his mouth your going to shove your foot in it.

Thats a problem I'm dealing with currently. I have only 2 other people on the earth that knows what I do and one is my neice-in-law only because she was around all the time last summer. Now she's like a stray cat coming around all the time for free bud. Needless to say, its gotten ugly. I mean, I've been very generous about it, but I have to stop it at some point and of course all the good I have done went down the drain now that " I'm being a prick about it"

dont trip potato chip.. unless you were in texas or a no tolerant US state i would have no worries in the world.. my 25k watt grow doesnt use a carbon filter, it stinks up several blocks, never once had an issue or tampered with for years.. and hes a friend of a friend.. close enough to feel like he can just go grab a shirt from your room. chill out, good luck with your grow..

Be cautious, but don't be too paranoid, it's not good to be paranoid all the time. Just take certain measure to see what's up, if the grow is in your closet I'm assuming in your bed room. You can always set up your computer next to it an throw up a webcam. It's just like a security camera, when I first started I set up 3 webcameras with live feed so that way I could see my garden when I was at work or school. I still have them up, just don't check in as often. It's kinda like a sense of security knowing that you have the opportunity to check in at anytime. Plus you can store your feed an look at it later, just fastfowar threw the bs to see if anyones tampering.
