I really need help on this one. First time grower so I really have no idea what I’m doing but I know this is a accidental reveg. I was wondering if I should just cut them down or try to put them back in flower. Friday will be 11 weeks in flower. Please anyone help!!!!

Just ran into this as well. 2 out of 6 plants somehow did this, I'm assuming from daylight in the basement windows making the basement somewhat light and it was enough to be seen through the air vents. I didn't think it would be near enough to affect the plants but I guess some are more sensitive than others (all 6 plants are different strains). In the end just had to say fuck it and let them all finish. Made the necessary adjustments so the next crop will be fine.

At this point probably kill it. Def has more time but if truly revegging it will take 3 months to finish.

Just harvest it early. Cut the lights out for 48 hours then harvest it OR fix the light leak, cut the hours out for 1-2 days then set the lights to 13 off 11 on and finish up your harvest its not the end of the world and its almost finished

What exactly does turning the lights off for 48hrs do? Spook the plant into growing bigger?
sarcasm is suppose to be funny. Lmao

It does 2 things, stop the plants from performing photosnthesis and enables cellular respiration and alot of growers, including myself hit the lights for 48 hrs to help signal flowering vs initially changing the light cycle.

It might stop the plant from unraveling its buds.

Cutting nitrogen in half may also help if u haven't already, the available amount of n-p-k does affect fruit production

Its no guaranteed answer growing is all about fine tunning and fixing your mistakes as early as possible

So you're making assumptions in what happened to someone's grow without the info?
Now you're the one being funny.
Turning your lights off for whatever amount of hours before flip or pre harvest is a bro science move.
Unraveling buds? Bro do you even grow?
Can you show me a pic of these unraveling buds? Never heard of it.
Btw I wasn't really asking what it does. I know what it does. Makes it dark for 48hrs that's about it.

Lmao i think its safe to say that he wouldnt switch the light cycle n be surprised that his plant is revegging

Naw it works. I've tried it with the same strains for 2 years 1v1. That and using a pk boost makes a difference.

have you revegged a plant or bud before? The buds unravel and stems grow out.
Its funny how ppl try to attack your grow experience on this forum when they disagree with you.

You have yet to offer a solution though
( hmmmm interesting)

Could also be too much N during flower making them extra leafy/foxtail-y...?

If it was a light leak, has it been there the whole time you've been flowering? If so, and if that's what's causing the reveg, why did it start flowering in the first place?

Thats a great point. I had a led light that would glow a little bit. The plants went into flower after the nut and light switch but ended up strrssing amd revegging.

A few of the new leaves are deep green and do have that waxy look thats accompanied with nitrogen toxicity

12 times a year out of a 4x4? Wow you’re doing better than me. :hump:
[/QUOT]

Lmao now thats an assumption.
More like 2 perpetual systems(3 flower tents, 3 veg tents, and 2 cloners), dwc, co2, led, and ideal conditions. Everything is Offset by a month.

But are you here to troll me or help with his problem.

Lmao you are still focusing on me huh.

Yeah im a FIRST TIME grower who has been harvesting 12- 24 times a year for the last 2 years but ive been growing for 7 years.

Are you here to question me or answer his question?

I mentioned cutting his nitrogen usage in half and increasing his dark time by an hour do you have anything to say of value?
