Come on man dont mean to be harsh but borrow 10 dollars and get a pack of cfls, cause that one flourescent is not gon work good for veg and i doubt that plant light is doing anything for them and that 10w watever is jus waisting your time. good luck tho.

oh yea and dont clone those plants cant take much stress, might want to wait til they get going under those cfls for a little while.

You may not want to hear this, but I would start over with new seeds. That thing just doesn't look suitable for cloning.

na want to hear it all lol sence i put that new blub in they been growing faster i see the smaller plant already has new growth on the top looks like the leaves are going to grow closer now i think i should work with the sall one more then the big one.
i was just thinking if i cut from the top of the big one and have that for a clone maybe i could get it to start growing leaves more compact.and ya i already have 4 more seeds germ right now as we speak and hopfully today or tomarrow i will be geting my check so i will be geting those lights soon.and trust i like to hear everything anyone has to say weather good or bad as long as they arnt talking $hit to me or about me i dont care it helps me know whats going wrong with the grow thanks ill try later and get a new pic of the new growth.

Not trying to be a dick at all dude, but until your set up to grow a plant the right way, I don't think cloning is in your best interest. There's been people who've been growing for years and still can't get cloning right all the time. Also If you can't afford a couple cfls theres no way your going to be able to afford all the stuff you need to clone with, i.e. - A clone box, rockwool, cloning powder/gel, and light for them. And thats the cheapest way to clone. I mean you could stick a cutting in some water and hope for the best but..... good luck with that. Personally i'd keep going with what you have, add more lights as you can, and in a couple more weeks switch the lights to twelve hours on, twelve hours off. ( they have been on for 24/0 or 18/6 right? ) Also man, check out the grow faq up at the top. Lots of good info for the new guys.

agreed... also wont have enough money to finish a grow with...transplanting more soil etc. Havent seen an (sucessful) indoor grow cost less than $100 from start to finish unless lights/soil donated. I would keep going with that (what u have) for now and learn from it. Sure you can start new seeds but dont throw what u got away as long as its not auto flower you can veg it out till it gets big enough. Keep in mind though its not how tall you can get em, its how many nodes u have and how big/bushy/healthy she is.

i hear ya my mom dose alot of cloneing with her diff types of plants and she puts them in water and they root thats why i was going to take the big one and do it so i could start geing the leaves more compact on it. i could make something like a clone box for them or i could go to rockeys and get something they have its real cheap.and if everything goes ok today il be geting those lights too plus someone told me about those light sockets that u screw in and it makes 2 instead of 1 im going to see whats good with those to .
and i have been runing 18/6 .plus i have more seeds geting grem right now.
i have a couple growing pucks too for cloneing too already they are dumb cheap.
the only reason i dont have everything already is cuase i didnt have a job when i started but i do know so im going to be geting everything trust
and i have been looking up alot about everything about growing even before i started.

also...quick note about pics, I think some ppl aren't really aware of what they are doing. Make sure all personal shyt is outta the way b4 taking a pic and posting it here. Last pic shows a kid in it... and the 1st ones show a magazine with an address label that Im sure you can almost make out if you zoomed in on it. Be careful of the security issues!

i just took the 2nd biggest plant i have that the leaves were looking like splashes of yellow on them and i cut near the top so i could try to clone it to see if i could get it to look better and be small so i could make it more compact with leaves so by time the roots come i should have the new lightsto help it and plus i have seeds germing like i said before so if any of these plants dont make it right i will start up new ones i aint stressing if any die will start fresh no prob.thanks

ok i went to the store and got 5 26w i thik it said soft white bulbs they say the reg bulbs everyone uses 1 of these equal to a 100w 1 of the regs so i have 5 of them up and on
plus some one said marical grow wasnt good to use so i got 2 bags of seed starter
professional growers mix,its a light weight soil and its a blend of sphagnum peat moss,horticultural vermiculite,perlite,wetting agent and lime for ph balance it says.
then i got this holland bulb booster fertilizer 9-9-6
it says its better then bone meal.and i got this schultz bloom plus plant food
water soluble,concentrated,with micrnutrients.
and i got some rootone a rooting hormone with fungicide.
now is this better then what i had before? ow ya those light bulbs are cfls too

A definite improvement, yes.

i have a clone im going to put some of that root hormone on and put it in the new soil mix i got and pray

You don't need the light on 24 hours, but most people do it that way. 18/6 will be sufficient. Me, I have a couple of clones going right now that are on 20/4. I wanted to give a little dark time so my little clone box doesn't get too hot(it's basically an old storage bin).

i would just go out and get everything you need to do this, set up a nice and neat spot, and start over. if you just have everything set up before hand, things will go so much smoother, and you shouldnt have as many problems. its tough when you have to rig something up as you go along.

hey, yea that looks better already but u got the wrong colour spectrum of cfls, oh well those will still work(u got the ones for flower, daylight 6500K for veg)

Yes, gettin better. Now, what kind of Miracle Grow are u using? If is time release u will want to switch that, but I've used MG continues release and it worked alright. Get daylight 6500k cfls when u can. Add those, and should be doing a lot better than a wk ago.
