I would also just cut the whole leaf off. Your using cfls so the lower leaves wont get enough light unless you have lights on the sides anyways.
help me out take a look

The leafs at the bottom that are totally dead, you can just peal them away. The ones that are yellow but have healthy green in between, take sharp clean sizzors like he said, and trim it away in. The end results should just look like a shorter leaf with straight edges where u cut. And it will be fine.

I think he is on his 9th node, so he could sex it now. Or put it into 12/12 if he has no space. But that will still take up to 2 weeks to show sex after being put into 12/12. Mine took about 7 weeks to show sex, I only put one into 12/12 to get it going, the other showed sex under 18/6. I have a few that still have not shown, they are over 7 weeks old.
I have a AK, its a monster. My youngest plant, but its over 2ft tall now. Hope its a girl. Then I have 2 girls that are at 11 days flowering
But he could put the one he told me that has 9 nodes into 12/12, Or if he has anything to take a clone from, he can do that then sex it and keep the original vegging.

um this plant is only 3 weeks old
and like he said is like going on its 8th or 9th node coming out now :0)
the plant is like i think 6 inches or a little less ill measure it to find out and then ill post the hieght but thanks on the complaments.
and but by being only like lets say 6 inches do u really think i should cut some from somewhere to make a clone being so small?and if so where should i cut from?

the way i look at it... you do need stronger light soon enough.... but until then try to build an incubator (which is an apparatus in which environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity, can be controlled, often used for growing bacterial cultures, hatching eggs artificially, or providing suitable conditions for a chemical or biological reaction.) Somewhere closed up you feel me? Have fresh air circulating the area and that will make ur plants more bushy rather then stretched out.... Pyccc

and what im doing now and where is way better now,but thanks.
and about toping im still debateing on it.
it was under 6 inches but i measured it today cuz i watered it last night and now its 6 inches and moving faster now :0).theres all kinds of new growth everywhere too.
and ur toping penny is looking good.and like i said about toping it i still kinda think its still to short to top.ya it has like i think now the 10th node starting to grow up now but still kinda short.wouldnt i need it longer for a good clone.and it would just make this one smaller and ill have to wait even longer for the new side growth to grow from where i cut right? help me out guys

Clowdy, if you topped it instead of it growing straight up you would have several stalks. You seen from the pics that now the main stalk has split into 2. Also, the lower leaves are growing in to. I will put some pictures up of the new top with 2 stalks. I will also take pictures of the new under growth.

i would throw it into flower for a week to find out then back in vegg if its a girl.if you spend the next month working on a boy your gonna e pissed . it takes about another week to start vegging again not bad...
