I grew some auto's a few months ago just to see what all the hubub was about them. Sunshine Pine from Homegrown Cannabis Co. Those fucking plants grew the frostiest bud I have ever seen. I grew 18 of them and the THC was high, trichomes were super thick, the buds were fat and massive. I got about 1.5 - 2.0 lbs off each plant. It was fucking beautiful. And the weed smokes soooooo nice and helps with arthritis as well as mood of headspace. The Sunshine Pine was a cross of the following {Pine Tar x White Papaya} х Ruderalis. I would like to see this strain in a photoperiod plant.

Autoflower is interesting and I had probably the best experience I could have had, I will not grow autos anytime soon that's for sure.

Some of my favorite flower rosin was from autos but not more than like 15% yield but phenominal potency and taste. They just wont work for what im tryung to do guarenteed. I may get a runt or few that hold up the perpetual line which any week added I lose a ton through vaping it.

We got 19-22% rosin when we froze one plant and put it through bubble hash bags. Then we pressed it in a rosin press. It was high quality to the point we could make water hash flags

My room mates dont care about the tents anymore I showed them everything so its just overwith. After hvac ordeal not being able to vent outside I have to open door to vent out heat so it was gonna happen.

I was just gonna not ever show them until I got it outside and plant counts down.

They actually really care about plant count so I need to keep 12. They dont understand 1 is equal to 50 technically and its all or nothing.

Its legal as hell here we see plants on other peoples property and smell them driving by in several areas. Stores everywhere. Now a schedule 3. Im willing to quit if I have to.

I spent so much at the store it was literally nothing for me to get here and enjoy while I can and may be able to indefinetly and more.

So Im trying to get count down.

Thats awesome. Yea I have limited space 25 square ft and highly likely another 9 square ft perpetual. The consistency of rosin return, bud and quality was close to the same across the whole harvest.

Even with some having less optimal grow conditions which did cause a later chop same clones.

Thats important and all but so is controlling the schedule.

Im on my 2nd run same clones and learned if you veg clones too long even by just 3 wks, have a unplanned delayed harvest or anything that can delay things by just 2-3wks messes everything up.

Then the autos not controlling flower flip is even harder. I tried perpetuating just one auto in one space it didnt go smooth.

Im pretty much on the dot with my current strain but already switching things up with new strains. I may get my 20%. I love the guarentee of pretty much everything aside from the few risks we all face.

I cant really do that since I live in it and roommates which appearently care about plant count is all. So no SOG or anything with smaller plants. 12 plants.

I thought about it but literally just a day ago just realized I may not need to do anything more than this latest Idea. Because it can make more than I can handle/consume.

38-40oz on a good run estimate. My first time setting my quota it was 24oz and I infact got exactly 24oz. Another benefit of photoperiod.

Yours and my space are similar in size. Mine is a 3 x 10 area perpetual, four plants come off the flower line monthly and I plop seeds when I harvest. My one tent has 8 plants in veg ready to hop out 4 at a time. The flower side has 8 in bloom. I'm at 16 plants plus seedlings or to sprout.

TLDR: I harvest 4 mature plants per month in a 3 x 10 perpetual grow.

Yall.. Whats your experience with fishtank aquariums that weed plants grow from or out of. This sounds like a nice project for my mini tent when I get bored with it.

Someone told me about it ages ago and havent found any hits online but all the sudden Im finding them. Its hydroponics merged with aquaponics. And people do it.

Omg theres a whole thing to get into. Even grow weed easy has a thing on it. Wow I really was 99% sure I wanted fish I just had this weed project over take me for years and still going.

If I could some how have fish AND use them as part of a grow, forget about it. Im going to keep entertaining this until Im doing it.

That's a rabbit hole one would be wise to avoid. There are much better use of resources than that for what we are doing! It does sound good.

Id do it to my mini 1x2x2 on a small ornimental scale. I already am given Im flowering in that tent. Two 1L pots. Pure ornimental purposes.

Fishes dont pay anything theyre just a pet and hobby, but an intensive one. Id do it for the love of pets and a .. Idk what youd call it or if its the right word, a symbolic relationship? Between pet and plants that I eventually consume.

Just a cool process to live out. Never know what could come of it in a situation where.. Now Im talking out my ass when I say more enviormentally friendly but Idk how true that would be.

I just heard fertilizer farming being horrible for the earth and polluting is a thing but so is electricity usage. Idk purely just turning this thread into a chat room just bullshittin around.

I upgraded my turtles 50 gallon tank (full with a basking platform on top) to a big 100 gallon plastic stock tank a few months back. Now I'm using more water overall for my one 7" turtle than I was for my entire perpetual grow, and have to truck in twice the amount of water from now on to do both. If I could afford to filter my well water properly, I would have at least 10 turtles and lots of fish too.

I change out around 20-25%, or 20+ gallons of the 80+ per week in his new tank (to keep the nitrates in check), but all the waste water I dump on my berries/veggies/tomatoes outside..

Turtles create the most waste compared to fish, but you can't keep them together in the same setup or they will kill each other unfortunately. It would be cool if you could have one really large tank to hold a bunch of them for aquaponic use.. You would have to have a smaller tank for each one though, because of how territorial they are.. Plumbed together like an RDWC system, but used more like an aquarium would work! Then use one big flood tray with the plants and medium in a tent as the filtration system...

I just calculated my watts per square foot. I added 18 square feet and more light. The total for my grow is 48 square feet with 2300W of lighting. That comes out to 51.1W per square foot. Now I understand why my plants produce such big and frosty buds. Grow is dialed in more than I thought. I mean I never actually calculated it until now for watts per square foot. It's perpetual and has 18 square feet for veg at 18/6 and then 30 square feet for flowering at 12/12. I will post some pictures as soon as I wrap everything up and tidy all the cables and fabrics.

Thats awesome, I havent thought about turtles. Nice that the red ear slider can live 30 years. I like ideas of pets that live long. Like a african grey bird living 80 yrs.

Big responsibility and didnt even realize even if I had them as pets that id need my generator to keep them alive in an outage.

For sure something to dig my teeth into when Im bored. So you basically have a turtleponic, wow, so it will work for weed you say..

Its been like 6 days refilled res twice just refilled the second time just now. Got 3 days worth of solution and I havent ph’d adjusted once. Itll be 9 days if it stays at this coincidental sweet spot that its just staying like 5.8ph. Dtw coco! Its not that hard!!

Aw ye! My 3x5x6 is here. What a funny tent size. 3x3 flood tray for 4 big 1.5’x1.5’ for the two 2.5x5’s. Depending on strain I can flip like that or smaller or taller and super crop.

A 2x2 plant or similar to above but for the 3x3 flower tent. That will be next to the flood tray leaving 2 square foot to get in and access plants.

Pics comin. Work couldnt go fast enough! Setting up but this time for greater results! Ugh those small dim 2x2s were so wack.

May use a veg light above each plant for custom height or see how this 3x3 light and 2x2 light perform. Experience tells me id like the custom light setup. I only need one more light.

My veg game getting better heres my veg plants 3 wks from flip. Just dimmed raised light saw too much purple stem. A bit late but thats a quick enough response.

Been realizing how speacial the coconut tree is. The coco fibers grow my weed, filter out its smell as coconut burned or something turns to carbon. My cannabutter is made of coconut.

Coconut oil is anti bacterial. Its a strong ass tree that survives hurricanes every year. Many uses. Just a cool though on the weed related sides of it.
