talking to their parents will happen. that's not fucking with them though. that's not the psychological warfare i was dreaming up in my state of ire. that's just responsible adults talking to other (hopefully) responsible adults.

When working with lower animals, you need to be immediate with discipline. Otherwise they don't make the connection. cn

and in regards to your "they've won" comment, oh well. let them have their one victory. all i want is to protect what's mine, and i'm doing that.

i guess we'll make talking to the parents a sooner rather than later thing.

i don't think you understand the joy that my wife derives out of our backyard flock. if the kids tried to fuck with them, she'd be devastated.

it's called taking the higher road.

Imo the whole invoice thing is brilliant. I would give that serious thought. It doesn't have the Vitamin Trolol factor but oh so many other things to recommend it. cn

the approach i plan on taking is to warn their parents about A) the legal consequences should their children be caught, which would involve tresapssing, b&e, and possession/cultivation of marijuana (a serious charge in this state if not a medical patient), B) the consequences should their children try this on someone not so non-violent as myself, and C) the possibility of a visit from CPS should they allow this behavior to continue.

parts A and B should speak to their concern for their children's well being, if they have any concern. part C should hit home on them personally rather hard.

who knows if the parents are lowlife scum though. it's a roll of the dice, really.

Pretty good, but the invoice thing has a certain official elegance. Maybe a Legal Notice in the appropriate section of the local classifieds. cn
