I've been offered 75 clippings/clones of sour diesel and I have the space to accommodate them...this would be my first grow
My question is how many 1000w lights would I need? What size boxes should I use for each light and how many plants should be placed in each box? What type of yield should I realistically expect and what should I do to get a max yield in 9 weeks?
Oh and I was thinking of running everything off a generator ..bad idea?
First time grower? You can forget about aiming for max yield. Focus on the basics of growing first. You want to grow out all those 75 clones? You're better off doing it outdoors. And during this time of the year, you can forget about growing outdoors. Unless you have lots of room, lots (and I mean LOT$$$$$$$) of money to buy all the necessary equipments AND pay the electricity bills on top of that, only then can you grow indoors with 75 plants. Otherwise you should veg them out and choose the 2-4 most healthiest, best structured, strongest growing, clones and grow them big under a 1000 watt or 2 x 600 watt light.
