HELP! My Friend Just Got Raided!

A friend of mine just got raided. He said 4 guys show up to his house at 11:30 p.m. and knocked on his door while he was in bed. His son opens the door and they said that they have a warrant to search the house. The funny thing is they never showed a warrant and only two of the guys had guns. They never showed their badge and knew exactly where the vegging plants were. They were very nice and just told them to sit down and make sure they didn't leave and they didn't get cuffed. They brought all 26 plants and put them on the living room table and asked if my friend had a bag they could put it in. They were all nicely placed in the bag, taken out to the dodge chargers and when they came back, one guy ripped off the piece of paper, put his number on it and told my friend to call him monday about his court date.

My question is, if you get raided, aren't they a little more aggressive and don't they usually have to swat team at your door?

Hahahah your friend just got robbed! He just made this guys rich! On a more serious note they are probably going to sell him back his own plants ingenious idea.

It does sound like your friend got ripped off...was it the cops? Who knows for sure, but doesn't sound like it. Do a google search with the phone number and see what you come up with.
I would have expected them to have a business card though, not have to jot their number down.

They probably did the right thing either way, considering there were guns on a couple of the guys...no sense in putting your family at risk.

Was it the cops? They told him to call and find out about his court date!!!! Maybe nobody else has ever seen the police in action

Well I'd like to say atleast he only lost plants. Cops would of took the lights too. Worst come to worst he has to start over maybe he should move too

meaning, he has so many plants in the house with KIDs that will just open the door. No weapons? No heavy duty locks? Lame & lucky some crackheads diddnt run up in their.

Any time a search warrant is executed they will leave a list of exactly what was taken from the home along with a copy of the search warrant.

Most certainly, your boy was robbed. Police wont take plants, they take pictures and video and then CUT the plants down. They also bring their own kitchen bags.
