This is great advice, thanks. I'll get an Apera, they are affordable. Bluelab cost almost twice as much.
I've never used an Apera, but my Blulab is around 5 years old and I've never had any issues aside from needing slight recalibrations over long periods of time. They are expensive, but worth it in my opinion.
I don't doubt that, it's a very reputable brand. I never skimp on tools, but I like to be cost effective, especially with the things that are not in heavy-duty use.
