I see a lot of different info on mixing nutrients, some say shit doesn't matter or calmag first then micro. Silica products first -micro-calmag - base nutes blah blah

here’s what I mix in order in RO water

powersi original- silica
Floraflex v1v2-Base nutes
Calmag
Liquid karma
SLF100-enzymes
Mammonthp-microbes

You have the 1st step right for sure. Silica is always first.. I'd need to look at the the products you are using to be sure, but I've always been told that calmag should pretty much always be added before micros and macros, but your products may suggest something different. My order is silica, calmag, micros, macros, adjust ph.

But it does.

'When adding silica into a fresh reservoir you will want this to be the very first product you put in your water. This way the silica will not bond to other molecules, rendering it unavailable to the plant.'
That’s wat I heard silica first but didn’t wait 5-10 min before mixing base nutes .
Plants look ok but u never know what nutes can get locked out

I’ve used it last in a dosatron setup for about 2 years

Based on experience or what you’ve heard someone else say? I’ve used it last on a dosatron setup for about 2 years..
Both...The manufacturer states to add the silica first, then cal/mag if you use it, then nutes lastly....and also, I totally fucked an aeroponic setup by adding Silica to my existing reservoir, and I had even diluted it in 3 gallons of RO water before adding it to the existing 100 liter res.. Came down the next morning and all 8 of my mister nozzles were plugged. I changed them, and the next day the pump was plugged. It caused a huge amount of problems.

All that means is that you've been wasting a good portion of the silica you're adding. This is basic chemistry, not opinions.
Any info you can link me to? Custom hydro nutrients .com, a lot of bigger operations buy from him, he’s pretty well educated, informed me it doesn’t really matter when I had asked a while back..

Was it silica that plugged the pump? Silica is white and slimy (when wet)

I will also adjust the ph after adding power si-it normally drops it down into the 4's after mixing, so I get it back to where my water(6.7) is normally at.
I run Tribus bennies and they get added next
I mix my Jacks 3-2-1 in after that(in its suggested mixing order) and let it stabilize for a few minutes and then adjust the ph.
