True. But, in reality, nobody has to do anything.this guy may be smarter than you think hes got word play in that letter
Im not a lawyer and I cant tell if the below letter is incriminating or not Im leaning towards that it is, but he specifically says in the letter "you do not have to do this"

Simply put, if the OP pays off the offender he has no worries in relation to his crop. The offender is offering 'protection.' But the protection only extends to the offender himself. The OP would remain in jeopardy from other informers.Do this little thing for me and you won't have to pull up your crop early or worry about distribution. Cops, Feds, IRS, TV Stations, just smile and tell your friends I have a good neighbor who only wanted 8 oz.
Extortion pure and simple.
The offender assumes that the OP is growing illegally. All the more reason to let the rat bastard make the next move.
