I've been following this grow for a while, and I must say.. fantastic for a first timer. You're going to have a FAT yield in case you didn't know. I can only hope I have HALF as much luck as you have. Keep up the good work.

Hey Havek, thanks for stopping by and thanks for your lovely, positive feedback. It's always great to have a more experienced grower tell you you're doing a good job.
I seriously hope I'm getting a FAT yield but who knows?! Not long to go now and the results will be in! Stick around for the finale.

I wouldnt call myself a more experienced grower, Im still on my first grow :p but you already have fat ass colas, and that yield is fat to my standards. I'd be happy with an oz. per plant. But yeah, I'm subbed, cant wait to see what your final dry weight is.

It truly is The Final Countdown.

Today it is Day 99 and 51 since signs of flowering began so she is now officially into her readiness window (50 to 75 days).

Here are her latest trich shots. I'm no expert but they look mostly cloudy to me with some amber. I reckon she's ready....ish.
Argh...what to do, what to do? Chop her or give her another week?

Simply beautiful. If it were me, I'd leave her for a few more days, then chop. I enjoy the cerebral highs. If you prefer the good ole couch lock stone, then give her another week or two.

It's D-Day.
I've decided to chop Pearl.
I am hyper-ventilating at the thought of it.

A couple of quick questions...

Is there a best time of day to chop?

Actually that's it...only one question.

I'm going to get my bit's ready. And by 'bit's' I'm talking about my harvesting utensils not my own personal lady garden.

Hard to believe she was at death's door a while back. You did a great job of rehabbing her, and soon it'll be reward time.

This is it. This is The End. Can't believe it. 100 days of watching her grow. So many dramas along the way. But here we are. Time for the chop.

Here she is enjoying her last hour in the sunshine, completely oblivious to the fate that is about to befall her - awwwww.

First one's in the bowl - basic trimming... it's a bit trickier than I imagined. Had a couple of little accidents, which are now speed drying on a piece of tin foil under the lights! hehe.

After 3 hours, the End Result, post trimming...

157.2gs! :clap: yay!

(17gs of trimming which I might even try and make some bubble hash with!)

Nice. I was hopping for a little bit more but as a first attempt I'm pretty darn happy!

Phew.

Time for a cuppa and a nice phat spliff. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is on...lovely.

Thanks for sticking with me chaps. It's been...emotional.

Thanks Sunni! I am feeling rather pleased with myself at the moment. I know it's only one plant and all but it's MY one plant and I think she did quite well.
Now for the next phase! x
