Just about to start my first grow, but im worried about the water im gonna be using, like straight outta the tap, im in the uk. What should i do, i read that you leave it out for a day, but is that all ill need to do...
I know about the ph and that, just dont know about the chlorine and various compounds in the water...

let your water sit uncovered overnight and the chlorine will be gone

do u hav to use nutes, im in week 5 of flower in soil,
i havnt added no nutes yet?

hi, i live on the coast and humidity is around 75% to 85% all year round.
i have already lost several plants do to mold.

i am considering getting a air-conditioning and dehumidifier.

what is the best way to lower indoor humidity to 50% with such high outside humidity?

is changing from a soil to a dwc grow worth the effort? i mean is there a significant difference in plant growth when using dwc compared to growing in soil? cause i was going to use a dwc system this time.....but after much research and studying various threads and watnot, i've started to think that maybe soil is just as good and the dwc wouldn't be worth the trouble of having to order a pump, get a res./change the res. weekly or bi-weekly, netpots, hydroton, tubing, etc..... idk...it just seems like alot of extra effort and money even (for the pump and its cost of use) then just using soil? wat ya'll think? u out there m.o.g.? got an opinion on this?

Thanks for the offer. Knowledge is always good to learn! So I have a thirty site ez cloner. I have roots developing, (about 1/4 inch long but it's been almost three weeks! My PH is at 5.8, my water temp between 69-72 degrees, and I also have a recycle timer running one minute on and five minutes off. I am using Hormex in the water but I also added about 5 mil. of each of the GH nutrients in to the water. Are the nutrients that I have added possibbly delaying my plants root growth. What would you recommend?

i have a supersilverhaze mother that has been growing in soil indoors and i have taken cuttings 4 different times. the clones come out great! i heard that you can only take cuttings around for or five times and thats it after that the plants will produce flowers with no thc. is this true?

30 days in flower and I found this on 1 of my girls..bad pic. but deff. shows what it is.a Banana? under the scope it looks like a open bean with it's peas exposed? hidden under the bud

Hey there, this is my first time growing and was just wondering if you could help me out i have a outdoor plant thats about a month and a bit old not sure on exact strain but its definetly indica and the tiny pistils have come up
except most of the ones from the bottom upwards on the laterals are turning brown and theres a few ones up higher which are still more green.
Aside from this the plant seems pretty healthy, i use homemade organic fish fert made by a friend.

Umm.. I have 11 medical marijuana plants growing.. 4 purple trainwreck x og kusn,4 seeds i found in a bag of reeeeaally good shit, not sure of the straiin, and trainwreck..
I have grown about 7 times now, made it to and thru flower only 3 times due to lame living situations and what not, and so I was wondering, since i have been hearing this, is it true that plants will double, even triple in size during flower/?? I dont recall this ever really happening, i mean i only made it to the point of flower i really desired once so far. when all trichs are amber.. and if i remember correctly, it only grew maybe another several inches during flower.. but i could be wrong! reason being, is I want a continuous harvest of as much as possible each time do you have any advice?? right now im planning on sexing, pulling the males , and then flowering all the females except the prettiest one, throwing her back into veg and taking clones off her, so once the first ones are ready for harvest, i can throw the cuttings in for flower... with 11/12 plants, how long should i grow them?? I need to grow at least a pound each month.. so if i gotta grow for two months, i need to yield 2 lbs. i am growing in a soil/perlite mix in a closet with 1 400w hps and 1 400w mh hanging side by side... and do you have any experience with purple trainwreck or og kush as to get an idea of my strain yields?? thanx upfront for any advice you have for me!! i appreciate you taking your time to help us all

Thought you might help on this.
Just getting ready to harvest indoor plants and I have noticed a couple of the Terminal buds turning brown...after closer inspection it appears there is white mold starting to grow from the inside of the bud out.
Wondering how to cure this.
I took a pair of sheers and removed the effected top part of the buds and then sprayed with a solution of Hydrogen Peroxide. Any other ideas on treatment?

hi everyone, i got a 4-5 weeks old plant and the FloraNova series grow and bloom. im not sure how much i should use for the first time? i dont have a ppm meter just a tablespoon

Hi yeah, i wanna grow this summer (london) in natural sunlight. i did it last year but to my dismay the pant turned out to be a male! Still a good experience tho, i wanna do it again but with auto feminised seeds. I was just wondering if you can grow auto seeds with 16 hours light and 8 dark or does it have to be 24hr light?? Your help would be much appreciated.....

I have a problem 1/10 EDIT of my plants are yellow (the biggest) I grow in coco. I did not read your coco thread before now.

When I started i forgot to ph 6 when I cloned (ph 8 and when I gave the first water it was around 6.5 They are about 10 days in after cloning... I did not flush, clean the Coco before I started
I was sure the problem after just root juice, and nothing more for Cloning 7 days, + 10 days that the problem was lack of Food, so I gave them food, acording to COCO homepage etc at PH 5.5 ... <-- Today 6h ago

But the problem might be "It's also VERY IMPORTANT to remember that when growing in Coco, you MUST pH at Hydroponic levels in the 5.5-6.0 range. pH ranges higher than this will result in plant deficiencies and nutrient lockout!"
That I have to high PH and the yellow leaves is nutrient lockout. Or the lack of food.... :/

- Some leaves are burned at the end, 1-20 Leaves...... So what to do thx

a week or so i reckon. i grow in coco and my ph goes from 5.5 to 6.5 and no problems there for me. hey dude you got any pictures of that plant that might help abit

Ah, sorry my cell phone is dead atm :/ But, it was not as bad, just the Biggest plants was yellow, and the Brown tip, is the lack of B, "

So, if you can live with as high as 6.5, the it was just the "food" i guess... THX m8, then I can sleep tonight

EDIT: I hope I it is, the food I gave had 0.007% in 40 Mil, per 9 liters Canna A+B 20+20... I hope that will do the trick thats 5% Nit, eek shall i give it more?
