OF is very hot. I once planted seedlings right into it. Fried 'em pretty good for the first few weeks before they pushed through it. I would not recommend doing what I did
Happy frog is a great medium for babies, because it's impossible to burn anything with it. The only mix I didn't care for from FF is their light warrior. Zero structure to the composition.

Both the girls are very happy as always. I know the roots are getting nice and strong as they are both drinking very well. I was thinking about topping them now. But I am probably going to wait and do it next Sat after the transplant.

Transplanted and topped. Because I bought such a small tent I got 3 gal containers. I now see I could have and should have used 5 gal. Live and learn. I really hate to transplant 2 times in a grow. But, now I am concerned they will not have the room they need. The solo cups were quite full of roots after 2 weeks and they have 10 weeks to finish. But I will cross that bridge when I come to it. Anyway they are a bit droopy now but I just finished moving and topping.

Disaster!!
I made a very serious error! I had to go on a short 2 day trip. I left my brother to watch over my babies...1 left
...`nuff said.
Now I am 3 weeks behind on a new little lady. The survivor is very lovely and healthy but now she will get an additional 3 weeks of vegging...lot's of LST will be necessary in my small tent.
I did decide to make a little change. No pre-germination this time...right in the soil. For years I have been saying I will grow hydro when I see a deity put some seeds in rockwool and throw a bunch of chemicals on it. Well, in fact I have never seen that same deity putting seeds in paper towels for 2 days before putting them in the ground.
Anyway, now that my brother has suffered my anger
and I am getting over being completely pissed. Here is the sole survivor...

Well, my set up is almost complete...getting my 2nd SF 1000D on Tuesday...
I am still mourning the passing of my other innocent girly. This would have looked so much better with 2 gorgeous plants.
. I pulled the filter out and that got me some much needed space. I added the humidifier and the intake fan. It is amazing how much stuff you can fit in a 2x2. But, the way I now have it set up it is perfect for a 2 plant grow.

3 weeks old now...tent is finished being set up...both lights are in. I moved the humidifier outside of the tent because it was at 70% when I got home. So I put it outside and have the intake fan sucking it through. My baby is very happy indeed! I don't think I will ever get over losing her sister. Here's the complete tent and a close up.

The seed I put into the 3 gal pot...popped out today! Yesterday I thought she was not going to. After all it had been 3 days. So, I began germination of a 3rd seed. I have never grown 3 at once...always 2. In my small 2x2 tent I will have to hang my interior fan from the top to make room, but that's not a problem. BTW, the intake fan I got from vivosun has a problem. It has something inside that the blade is hitting...remember putting baseball cards on your bike wheels? I am returning it and have a new one already on the way...That is why I like Amazon. No questions asked. Anyway some new pics. You can't tell here obviously but I topped the big one for the 2nd time today.

That's my problem. I only have a small tent with 3 girls in different stages of growth. I have my recently popped seedling that I just put in soil, I have a growing seedling, and a gorgeous month old baby. I am going to start an LST on my month old this weekend. However, regardless of age they all go into flower on May 1st. I have to do it that way because in my state privately owned rental units are inspected every 2 years. In my apartment this happens in July, I want to be able to tear down my equipment before that happens. As it is, I will be pushing it with just 8 weeks to flower. I did have one idea, put them in large hefty bags and in a utility closet I have for the couple of hours the inspector may be going around through the rental units. I don't know though. I guess I will have to wait and see. The little lady I put directly into her finishing pot seems to be growing pretty slowly. But, I attribute that to root growth and how can that be bad as long as she is healthy.
Anyway here is today's pic...the month old is fucking gorgeous don't you think?

Fucker dropped it and it landed upside down, broke the stem. He will not be forgiven. If not for that I would have 2 sweethearts and would likely flip them next weekend.

I have come to a conclusion that 1 harvested plant is going to have to do this grow. Most unfortunate but circumstances make it necessary. I have the inspection some time in July, not exactly sure when. Blue Dream is 8-10 weeks to flower. I want to tear down the tent before July 1 so I have a chance to remove any residual smell. Totally sucks living in a place were I have to fear losing everything for a fucking plant. But it is what it is. My buddy is going to inherit at least one of them. I may just put the other into flower with her big sister just to see what she will do.. I have just started LST training on the big girl...she has been topped 8 times as well. I am hoping to get close to a QP. I think it is possible but I don't wanna count my budz before their cured. I guess we will see what we will see.

Yah...prolly not. Critters would get `em fer sure. deer, squirrels, racoons, rabbits and more. Another buddy of mine went to Colorado a few weeks ago and brought me back an 1/8. Lasted me 16 days. One good yielding plant will get me through to the next harvest. I don't really mind losing the others...what really frosts my cookies is that this whole thing is because of a 10 minute walk through of my apartment. Even if I hadn't lost the other one, I would still want to start flowering ASAP.

I hear ya. Just trying to find an alternative option for ya. You got some balls growing in an apt., I'll give it to you. If you're trying to keep the stains, just take some cuttings a few weeks before hand.

I have lived in this apartment almost 3 and a half years. Since moving in I have had 3 people in here and 1 was the inspector 2 years ago. I am not to worried about issues with the law after July. As soon as he walks out of my apartment I begin germination of 3 Auto lemon haze.

For sure! I used to do it kinda shady but I'm all legit now. It's so less stressful. I live in a townhouse/ condo, so I was always paranoid about my neighbors. I have no worries now. I'm guessing your government doesn't offer medical?

No plant material...but legislation for flower with a card is in the works. Don't know if growing will be allowed anytime soon.
