Thank you for your advice. I now wish i hadn't made an order for auto. I'm thinking of growing auto outdoor so container and soil are not problematic. I also chose auto because i did not want for it to go in flowering stage late september, i want to finish the grow faster.In my limited experience photo period plants ( regular pot seeds) are easier and more durable than auto flowering plants. Autos are easily stressed and respond by going into shock lock. Too heavy of fertilizer and your already behind, need to transplant? Forgot it you'll never catch up. R
ecovering from timer issues is slow and slower. This brings about the human response to do something which in turn causes shock to deepen and frustration to build to the "I'm going to break something " point. If you're plan is thought through and laid out and u have contingency plans for every single threat then u can make it work and work well. I'm not anti-auto flower (I'm 0-2) but they are far more work than a regular one. Read, read read and ask more questions. Be patient and be open for suggestions. I'd have at least 5 seeds to start with. Your soil should be rich enough to last the whole grow with minimal amendments. Your container should be deeper rather than wider because when the tap root touches bottom this is one stimulus that triggers flowering. Good roots = good canopy/flowers. Stick with it man and best of luck. My CFL grow in the bathroom
When i'll change to indoor i'll make sure to turn to regular plants.
About CFL light. How many watts do you have? (I've read how much you should have, I'm just curious about your grow) and do you add CO2 or not?

You have to remember that before the light craze took off, growers were using T5's ....we use LED's here in D.C. But some of my friends have HPS 1000....i have seen plenty of auto's do fine under CFL's...dont be discouraged bout autos...they're becoming much more resilient as breeders continue to breed n cross more...its a simple plant and i think theyre great. Dont be discourage by all of the opinions...of course they will be less potent than regs but if grown right, you wont be able to tell...you can use Co2 , it will help but in my opinion the small difference it makes, isnt worth the additional time...however there are the Co2 bags that are natural and seem to work well without any extra maintainence ....make things simple man...i def would go 18/6 ...throught out the whole grow, and just feed em...idk ur feed schedule. Some people feed only nutes once a week...i got a friend@mistergrnthumb on I.G. That feeds nutrition (organic) every feeding and everyday...his work, u will see speaks for itself. I have two triple cheese going right now that i feed nutes to every feeding and been feeding them nutes since seedlings...i also topped them and theyre doing great...with two instead of one nice sized tops....Also, you really dont need an auto plant for a quick bloom....you can grow a regular seed from seedling to bloom in no time by simply starting it off under a 12-12 photoperiod...remember, u can flower a plant nomatter how small it is by simply switching the photo periodThank you for your advice.
