Hermie plant! :( can i save it!?!?

I think my plant was a little bit mad at me over my recent move and has pistils and balls. It has been in flowering for almost two weeks now and has both male and female parts. Some are still too undefined to tell for sure but their has been a spot or two of nut clusters I have pulled off, and some pistils that are doing just fine. Is their any way I can revert, or change it to just female? Or should I just keep pullin of balls when I see em?

Any help is appreciated, thank you!!!

hopefully you can save your crop, mine is full of seeds now, at 4 weeks flowering. I'm hoping theres something I can do to save a little bud and make some hash or cookies.

I'll definitely have to look into that Dutch Master's Welsh thanks you! My plants have been through some tough times, with moving, and some light got in during a dark period :( Sadly I got too baked and forgot to close the door to the room one night... But everything is stable now, light secured and i'm hoping to see some better results over the next few days. I have two in flowering right now, i'll put pics up n a sec, but no sex is really visible as I only have my phone for a camera.
And grape was it hermie plants? Or a sneaky male that seeded up your crop? Maybe the Dutch Master reverse could work for you too?

you can pluck balls, it might work, but it's quite an investment in time
catching all the balls is not easy, i have done it and you can limit the damage, at least some of the time
if you get the plant so your looking up, you will see balls that are hidden otherwise

Yeah i'm seeing all the preflowers coming up on the tops starting to grow up with organs instead of showing up on previous branches and can't quite tell the sex of them yet. But all the lower ones i've plucked the balls off of. And it is very stressful and angering lol..

one more thought, actually from experience
have a spray bottle of water when plucking balls, water will cause pollen to die very fast
spray nuts before touching, wet balls, wet pollen, and wet pollen is quickly dead pollen
makes a huge difference

How early on in development do they actually produce pollen? Because I pulled off a little bunch of about three and they were all still full of that gooey green choloplasty looking kinda stuff, but no pollen came off them. I was planning on waiting a couple of days to pull any more off because I think I accidentally pulled off one calyx :/ saw the hair on the inside afterwards.. but will for sure spray in a few days regardless.

strains can be different, some(supposedly) can throw pollen in less than a day after appearing
my experience(limited hermie experience, 2 of 'em) is it's pretty easy to keep up in the beginning
the early balls will be like what you said, all wet, but the balls will start to really come on
some will be hidden in nooks and crannies, as time goes by they seem to get more mature quickly, that's when it gets harder to keep up
but it can be done, but a few seeds are going to happen, probably

It sounds to me like you just have a male not a hermie. It usually takes 2 weeks of 12/12 to show sex after the flip. Unless you are using a feminized seed then I guess it would have to be a hermie then. Who knows I could be wrong about all of it.

What scares me is that their is a resin hair but it's only one not two little white hairs, and i'm seeing a lot of what look like to me to be nuts. Their not clustering yet, but i see no sign of hairs either. I'm afraid it's starting to turn into a full male and only keep a couple hairs on it :/

male hermies happen, not as common as the she males
it would make your choice easier, chop or collect some pollen

Well this is disappointing.. Also leads me to believe my other plant might be the same thing as the seeds were from the same bud. Also their was some stress early on, moving spots, light in dark hours. If this was the problem that caused it to turn hermie could correcting these revert, or fix it? Or is the plant just destined to be a male or male hermie?

you'll see a lot of opinions on hermies and stress, most of them seem to be genetics, they were doomed to happen IMO
if it's predominantly male, that's just the breaks of the game, sucks, but reg seeds will give you males quite a bit of the time
femme seeds even produce males, just a lot less

Yeah, I guess i'll just take this lesson in a good way instead of getting mad about all the time money and stress wasted haha.. Learned a lot about growin' and keepin' them alive. Different ways to grow them whether it be topping, lst, etc. Probably going to try fem seeds next time though maybe auto's feel like I could keep a plant alive now.

I think i caught a lucky break! The top main colas of the plants apparently exploded last night and all I can see is "pairs" of hairs now! :) I can't recognize any nuts yet, (not saying their won't be, I just haven't pulled em'). So it may still be a hermie, but it's getting some bud now so i'll be happy with my first SOON TO BE successful grow!

Anyone who may still be interested in this thread here's an update. Buds are starting to get really big quick only about 4 days since visible hairs on the plant IMG_20120326_215120.jpg
