Hey im probably not in the right area/topic but I have a major question

Me and a friend have started a indoor grow, its technically all his plants but its at my house, im the one taking care of them over 90% of the time, my friend comes over like 2 times every 2 weeks to come check on them, I cant even water the damn things without him becoming a control freak, its like he is using me to just store them at my house, I dont know what to do, im threatening to rip down the entire op, he is pissing me off to be honest. they are all almost ready for harvest (we have agreed on a 50/50 split) which is not fair I deserve more because if it was not for me the plants would be dead... He belittles me and says I dont know shit even though this is both our first operation, I really cannot take it anymore, any advice on how to get him to stop BEING A CONTROL FREAK, he thinks I dont know shit....

don't tell him when you harvest and keep it all for yourself. put the tent away for a few months incase he decides to call cops like a child. sounds like you're getting bitched down hard by this guy, especially if you're doing all the labor.
i really hope you get your fair share of bud out of this.

I dont wanna do him dirty tbh he is a childhood friend, I just want him to play it fair like I am trying to, I really would love to harvest myself, If I did I would share it evenly with him, But then he is just going to bitch how "I did it wrong, you should have called me or texted me before even touching it"
Yes he is an asshole but that is why im stuck

I’d say screw him if he wants control over it he can keep it at his house. If not stop bitching.

thing is, it's your house it's in, not his.no matter what, the plants are technically yours. you do you man, but if he's acting like a dick over some weed, i can only imagine how much of a "good friend" he is.

THats where another thing comes into play, he cant keep it at his house, he was told to get rid of it and I was nice enough to hold onto it ever since a few months ago

He is an amazing friend, cool dude to smoke with, but when it comes to stuff like this he is a controlling douche.

Nope I have never gotten 1 pay check from dude, even thoug we never spoke about him having to pay me for electrical, but like I said I was being cool about it, I even brought it up in an argument that im literally providing everything for these plants,

calculate the figures and present it to him. this looks like one of those 75/25 no negotiation deals
and i'd hold off to harvest to tell him the deal, whether he likes it or not you have done all the risk and paid the electricity... it isnt a big deal if your only splitting a few oz's in half.. but if its a few Lbs, definately think about what you've put in to it, and what he has.

if you talk too early before harvest good chance your good child hood friend will rip you off somehow

Oh no I only have 2 plants in a small home made tent, the biggest one is propbably going to give me half a zip, its my first time growing so I didnt want to go crazy, Ill upload a picture in a minute

i did the same thing in the beginning. had some "silent partners" that brought in the clones, paid for half the nutes/soil and then did fuck all after that.

i bit the bullet on the first grow. and split the harvest 50/50. but cut a clone of my own. kept it as a mother. cut my own clones for the next grow.

when they asked if i wanted them to bring in new clones for a new grow i politely declined.

one grow cycle is probably not worth losing a friend over if you plan on growing long term.

You started on a plan together which presumably you both agreed. So continue on and learn all you need to know.
Make sure you take out any expenses you have such as electricity before splitting whats left and then if you want to grow again with this mate do it on more favourable terms.

When I started out growing when I was a kid we had guys a lot older than us do the same thing. We provided the space and they provided the equipment and knowledge and back then they were reluctant to share knowledge since it gave them leverage to repeat the process. This was pre internet though.
Knowledge is power.
But don't fuck your friends over for a bit of coin or weed.
