Maybe for a seedling, and small veg, but it is high temp (more blue light), so it doesn't have the red spectrums flowering prefers. For a micro-grow, like inside a cabinet space it would work fine, I think for a single plant veg. But come flowering, you will want something lower temp for red spectrum light, 2700k-3500k.
