Hiding Grow Setups From Parents?

hey umm ender thye aren't gonna smell until you get buds goin are you tellin me you would buy a bag that doesn't reek up a room when you open it??? Do you really think that it just gets that smell when you dry it and cure it?? and umm one more thing they are flowers, flowers smell.

LMAO... Yeah, I dont know what the deal is. I got buds all over, theyre not huge, but they are there... Its a really weird mutated plant. supposed to be blueberry, but man its ugly as hell. It doesnt have a single normal set of leaves... Thats why I want it to start smelling cause keep having nightmares that it is a super retardo plant that produces no THC and I wasted all these months on it, plus its my oldest plant and I havent had anything to smoke for like 7 months since I moved... WHY GOD! WHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

isnt the whole point in getting a carbon filter to get rid of the smell?
ive been in houses that had the whole basement lit up and you coudnt smell a dam thing upstairs, thanks to a carbon filter
so if you want to grow inside, just make sure every hole is covered, and for power usage if you look into a CFL grow they say that the power usage goes up 10-30$ a month, so go buy a computer case and put them in there, make it look like the computer is eating up the power

Yeah take it from me, I used to grow in my dads house and he caught me 4 times each time they were bigger first they were 6 inches second time they were 12 inches third round 14-16 inches and the fourth they were in my closet and were about 18-20 inches. Now i did not get sent to jail and i thank god every day now cause i was young and stupid, he could have very easily called the cops. I don't live with my dad anymore but i suggest you wait until your out of your parents house cause it can land you in some shit.

I say a rubbermaid grow under the stairs! If there is a kind of "area" under the stairs to the basement, put it there. Put other boxes and tubs around it to cover it.

And why is everyone getting caught w/ closet grows? YOUR SUPPOSED TO HIDE IT!

I am doing a grow box in my closet. Only 26" tall or so. Not big, but will house sum Dieselryders w/ flourescent lights and maybe CFL's. Lol, seems like my dad is the only one who trust me about drugs. He dont think I do anything at all beside dip at school every now and then.

well i hope i dont get shit for this but here it goes...

i used to grow in my parents house when i was in high school. It was because i didnt want to deal with dealers and shady peeps. I just had a metal cabinet in my closet. a 70w HPS and 4 20W cfl's/. i grew some pretty damn good bud and my bopx was glowing like crazy

my closet would glow when i turned off my lights and you could hear fans from in my room.

ON MULTIPLE occasion i had my mom open my closet and look at it, she'd tell me to clean up the wires cause its a fire hazard

i think she knew, but even so it was stupid, the only way i got away with it was by telling my parents it was an AP Physics project so they couldnt open or light could escape... etc etc... plus my parents give me WAY TOO MUCH privacy..

and my dad grows weed too so i think he supected but didnt care. o well it was dumb and i dont recommend it to ANY ONE!!!

just grow out side its easier and cheaper

I still live with my mom but we just moved from Belgium so she's ok with it.
As long as i'm willing to share with her there is no problem.
2 weeks later i transformed the entire bassement into a grow room.
Nobody goes there and it was extremely dirty and filfthy but now!Daaaaaaamn,it looks like a science garden lol.
Now it is fully equiped with 1 1000w HPS/MH and 1 600w HPS/MH.Almost perfected room temp control.
Flower room and veg room.Ventillation,co2,mylar covered walls,no light leaks and no smells.hum. stays at 55%.and temps stay at 73F.-76F. day and night.

I asked permission,told her the truth,told her i really want to make this a hobby and i gave her a list of equipment i will be setting up.She respected that i asked her first and told her the truth.
I don't care what anybody says,having 20 plants in the veg room and 8 females almost ready for harvest with no worries of being caught is an awesome feeling.
But then again i am leaving for marine corps bootcamp in 3 months so this will be my last 3 months of smoking for another 4 years.I have been stoned ever since my last harvest 1 month ago .

You might want to talk to them if they aren't the type of parents were you constantly stress about getting caught whenever you light a cig.

If u do it anyway and you WILL get caught,you will lose allot of trust and credibility from them for a long time.And they have every right too.
Trust and credibility is allot more important then legal shit.
Just think,is it worth losing all that trust and credibility to just get an OZ of weed?

Untill you get your own place,i highly advise you to get a job at best buy or something.
U get paid pretty good at those kinds of places,so you can smoke plenty and still have a good sum of money for whatever you need.

Or if u are THAT desperate.go get a bicke,backpack and huff it out in the woods indeed.
