Agreed, the only times I wasn't carded was when a vendor had already verified my patient status. Considering I'm a pretty recognizable guy it's not shocking that they remembered. But they were very strict about checking IDs as well as patient cards from what I saw.

Id be lying if I said I wasnt a little dissapointed. Dont get me wrong, I had fun going and all. I mean its the fucking high times cannabis cup. I just feel that it could have been done at a bigger venue and there could have been more vendors. Not a huge fan of the compassion clubs that showed up either. Most of the time they just ignored me as i walked by or handed me a pamphlet that really didnt say anything other then we are a compassion club of some city or county.

On a side note, Definately happy that TGA was there. Sinclair seeds was there as well. I bought some Jack the Ripper seeds from TGA and theyre all growing happily in the 853 sample bags of the M3 mix i got there. LoL. Was I the only one that got handed a bag of dirt EVERYTIME he walked by that booth? All 5 of my seeds sprouted, which was a first. Im looking forward to growing this strain though, has a HIGH Thc and THCv count. Very excited!!!!

Howdy Folk,

The pressure was on, the PD played their games, and we got stoned in the porta-potty's (wheel chair access potty was nice and roomy, good call Steve!). Watched the Detroit PD ticket a few vendors, take 6 incredibowls (new) as evidence, and piss off Mr. John Sinclair and just about everyone else with their presence.
Sunday I spent the eve at Sinclair's place with good company and hospitality. Watched John refuse to return to the event and claim his life time achievement award. Stayed to enjoy the who's who mini private cup at John's place (not sure how many joints we rolled for that, but it was high times!) Then made it back to the event in time to see Matt Able accept John's award on his behalf and mention who he had suggested would be suited to accept the award in his absence. (guess its not a life time achievement yet!)

Thanks Steve Hagar for the use of your vehicle to medicate.

My complaint and suggestion however, was to insure seating for disabled guests at the after party!!!... I think I need a hip replacement now...

I just assumed everyone treated it just as they would super soil and be used with a starter soil like roots. One thing about it though is when those roots finally hit the super soil you'll notice light burns not many but just a touch with fast new growth within a week and a half the roots in my pots will be already hitting the bottom in 5 gallons it's awesome.

it was shady because they sold meds without carding, and the guy was sitting back smoking a doob while dispensing meds...after telling me to hold off to make sure no undercovers were around. plus .8g is not worth 20 (shadiest thing), anywhere. they charged 30 bucks at the door for what?! if you ever been to berts warehouse than you would probably have smoked meds INDOORS as its an extremely relaxed environment. i mean come on, you werent pissed you paid 30 for that, it was a joke, everything the speakers said you can hear them say on their youtube videos... nothing new.

I made my money back on the 2 day pass almost instantly when i picked up my gift bag and got 4 issues of high times at 7 bucks a piece, t shirt at 10 a piece for free. That alone was enough for me, not counting the freebies from the vendors. I thought it was worth it, even purely based on just the freebies.

I would for sure be interested in a Local soil mix.
