No dimmer on the 84x's but want to maintain a square pattern.
Both equally getting umols.
Upping the wattage on the Trinty would only mean raising it.
Remember, its only one plant for each side we are focusing on now. But i will share the others at some point.
So this is a test of "if we make this led more efficient it could be a replacement to white"?

If that's the case is the evidence that they can make it efficient enough to compete watt for watt?

That's just wacky. So HLG designed the Rspec to deliberately offgas my terps?
law of unintended consequences.

I'm working on a light for myself that will allow me to switch off the 3000k strips and only use a few 5000K for the last bit of flower. Took a bit of designing as switching DC currents is a tricky thing when it comes to hardware due to the arcing, but I found an elegant solution using mains switched relays. There is still plenty of red light in the 5000K strips no doubt, but it is all relative, you spectrum whores can inform me about that... it is not really a field I know enough about...but I am conversant with the basics.

Why don't you clowns quite poopoo'n on brother hybridway2's thread

I love clowns, pennywise included, just want to squeeze that red nose...

Seems you have selective memory issues(mirror/mirror), forgot about trolling up lukio's awesome grow thread? He almost left this site because of your ass.

No disrespect to hybrid, he knows how I feel about this drop shipper.

In the presence of red, the blue will cause the plant to offgas terps in late flower..
Just to clarify, this your hypothesis based on your interpretation of events in your grow room? I tried google and cant find any studies, especially canna related. With some other plants , its been proposed that 80/20 red to blue is fine for terpene production and preservation.

Had to reduce light for the past 2 days so put the hgl under 1 84x & the Trinity on low @ 200w. Will get back to normal tom. 20190527_195201.jpg 20190527_195211.jpg The 2 clones really luke the Trinity & are putting out leaves big as my hand. 20190527_195145.jpg 20190527_195230.jpg Those 2 clones are the tops of these 2 ? Strains that im flowering out in 6" potts to see if worthy of keeping the monster clones which will get planted tom i hope.
Early frost development, stink & grease is a good sign & they have plenty of it already. 20190527_195314.jpg

Just a heads up to mentally prepare yourselves for an update.
Dont mind the poor condition they look in. I promise you all, they were both equally neglected. Yall may recall i transplanted into 3's using straight CoCo. Nothing else in it. Wellllll, then Memorial Day wknd came n a bunch of other stuff that kept me from tending the garden.
So, like 2 days ago i actually checked on the plants & the 2 comp plants were getting pale, waxy looking leaves that would not express happiness. Thats from pure tap water feeds in straight CoCo to long i guess. Havent seen the waxy, fake looking leaves on a plant in a long time.
They got nutes 2 days ago, a de-fo & light pruning last night. Im updating today cuz after that both plants will be opened up some to start prepping for filling the area & i figure even if in sad shape they should be compared vertically before the spreading of the legs starts.

Both plants will get the care they deserve. Dont worry. Just a slack wk on gardening.

They're greening up fast & will be spreading open for us tom hopefully. Getting main room clean so these can get in there.
Rest of room is still behind on transplant & will prob go directly to 5's & 7's.
Both these comp plants have a full root ball or pot already but ill give thrm another week at least.
Thank you to everyone for your patience! Actionwill start picking up now.
Both girls are 2' wide at their widest point rn.

Although shorter, the HLG looks healthier. Thicker branches and more dense growth.

Come to find out the HLG plant has/had a fungus gnat infestation.
Been struggling with these bastards for the past couple grows.
The rest of the veg has been getting a preventive called T-Drops by CX Horticulture. Ingredient: Tanlin. Just started it on the 2 comp plants cuz they weren't dry the days the others were when they were treated. It takes a min to start working & i want the adults dead now. I feel they played a role in stunted growth. For the infestation to be as bad a it is they must've been going at it fir a min. Now.
Haven't been able to pay as close attention as needed to veg till now. These stickys were placed around the 9th
20190613_001419.jpg Now that's when i noticed it was getting OC. So just last night it got SNS 203 @ 3 tbsp a gall. & so did HGL to keep them even .

Thanks for the update.

Pretty amazing that with all that going on, the thing still looks that good. HLG is seriously legit. Glad I bought one. Haha
