Thankfully I'm pretty sure I identified this sucker. With help from other people of course. Hypoasis Miles is the name of it. Note the light brown body and darker brown pointy head. Now I've never had toot aphids so I can't be a hundred percent. But from the ones I see online they are all white and have round little white heads. This head is dark brown and pointy looking. Atleast I hope we got the right bug. If it is the hypoasis miles than it is a friend. They feed on fungus gnat larvae and other nasties. Only time will tell I guess. If I start having unhealthy plants and damage I'll know it's a root aphid. If it's a root aphid I'm tossing all of this soil and starting over. I will then do what tek does and buy miracle grow!:/ Im fairly positive thats a root aphid... eeep! lol
Right now 20/4 but for the first week they were on like 18/6. They've definatley grown faster once I switched to 20/4.what light cycle you got them on?
20/4 is my favorite schedule. I just had to wait to get them back in the tent before I set the timer. I find that to be the most beneficial.I run 20/4 1000w hp from start to finish. So far so good..
hmm? the one up top looks ify to me but the one with all the pistils coming out of it looks like a calyx to me.Okay guys down to one pinkie. Now I have never had a Hermie before so checking with you guys. I've also never seen four or five hairs coming out of each calyx. So again just being cautious. What's everyone's thoughts. Whether or not this looks like a Hermie trait and or a Hermie sac. You have to zoom in but it's a clear pic.

It doesn't seem like they're on a stem there still to small to tell. They are awfully round for a new calyx though. Time will tell if it is I'll start two more.hmm? the one up top looks ify to me but the one with all the pistils coming out of it looks like a calyx to me.
is there a little stem holding the calyx? if not should be a female.
Not to jack your thread but I thought I'd show you what my males look like. Clear as day, NUTZ.It looks like it is on a little stem when I get closer View attachment 3535817
From the best of my knowledge hermis don't show both sex's in the same spot. If it's a hermit it will have both reproductive organs but be located in different spots. I've never seen pistols protruding from a male flower. It looks like it is on a little stem when I get closer View attachment 3535817
Thanks yeah I've had males before so I know what the nuts look like. I just wasn't sure about hermies. I've never had round calyxs untill they swell. Ill keep on going with her unless I see straight nuts lol. From the best of my knowledge hermis don't show both sex's in the same spot. Male flowers showing up within a female flower (bud) can happen, but not the other way around.
yea idk man if it is its a weird one, but you never know they come out in all sorts of variations. Thanks yeah I've had males before so I know what the nuts look like.
