We just lost part of our garage roof and a huge limb landed on the main house.

damn man that sucks, sorry to hear. AZ was hit with a wind storm like that last year and my company is still paying out the ass for that freak storm. my book of business took a huge hit from that shit. call your insurance company right away and report that claim. if it did any damage they can have adjusters out soon.

We had a mini updraft that ripped my roof off right over my head when we were asleep . Of course we woke up just before all the rain collapsed our ceiling on top of where our bed was . We had no insurance and it cost us thousands . Hope you'll be ok .

I saw a bit of video once of a microburst hitting desert floor. It kicked up a ring-shaped dust cloud a mile across, in seconds. A lot of power there, and with truly zero warning, unlike even tornadoes. cncn

First, I think he laid an egg that looked like a brick. Then he said something about flinging and cursing, some dancing, a trip outside almost nakey to relocate the intruder. I told him I'd have emptied my .45 into it. He's much nicer than I am.
