Ive been making everclear extract a few time and got tired of waiting for solvents to drip through coffee filters. I cold it all up good and froze first but heat inna kitchen and long time it takes to strain it can thaw out a bit and grab some plant sap anyway. Found a thing for coffee called Aero Press. First run and love it. Anyone doing smaller runs with alcohol or making tears is gonna love this thing. You can push an air pocket behind the liquid and force every drop through the filter without chance of ripping paper. Quick and clean. Not an agent for the company just a heads up if u see it around, look it up whatever you might like and such.

That last time I did it. I did the QWET method. I used high grade food alcohol. I plan to do it in the winter. So it will be easier to keep cold. I reccomend a bunchner filter and vaccine pump to speed up the process. So you don't have to wait for it to drain.

If i understood i use Dme dimethylether... and i extract tube don t use plastic... i want try on fresh plant but i have any expérience....

Completely off the main idea here but if the problem is the waiting to drip through coffee filters wouldnt something like a fine mesh bubble bag work way better?

Oki i understood you look a solution to use a process to increase the yield for you coffee filter is not perfect?

Yes some plastics may degrade and leach into final product with strong volatile chemicals. This coffee press is hard, heat resistant and BPA free. Seems it should hold up against grain alcohol. From what I read fresh plant ok if u decarb first and keep frozen for whole processes

No, there’s other ways to strain just something I had from a gift.
This coffee filter won’t rip as it’s just a paper disk behind a screw on retainer. Bubble bags work good maybe I’ll even make a reusable filter disk for the press with one.

I use MaxLoom 250 micron rosin extraction bags as my filter. Load one with material, insert open end first into a second bag, freeze then combine with freezing Everclear, shake for 2-3 min. every hour x 4, then let drip dry.
