I saw Kim Mitchell in Guelph,Ont in the mid-eighties...Patio Lanterns tour if I remember correctly. Maybe 200 people in the hockey arena...smoked a LOT of hash that night....
I was there. Ive been at every Max & Kim's show in Guelph....Rush, triumph, April Wine, Wilcox...etc. Guelph used to be a main stop for up and coming acts. Anybody remember Lulu's in Kitchener? Man some great memories at that place. Worlds longest bar (at the time), wicked Canadian bands every weekend....great times.

No...

The original Baracuda started in Edmonton with Chris Schroer and his sister and girlfriend back in the 80s.

Another excellent tribute band that came around a lot to all the rooms you mentioned was the Guy Jones band. They did a full on Alice Cooper tribute with costumes and snakes and so on. I used to see them at the Beverly Crest all the time.
that's where i saw and met him..great tribute to Alice!!

Lulu's was great...Sam Kinison and George Thorogood....couldn't hear correctly for 2 days. Saw a few other greats there too.......fuzzy memories.
Not nearly enough washroom for the capacity they had ....nasty by evenings end
That must be why the parking lot smelled of piss.
