Started some Big Black Indica feminized seeds on January 11th. The roots popped the seed 24hrs later and i put them in rockwool cubes until the first leaves emerged. Once they got taller than the glass container i had them in as a humididome, i put them in my DWC setup, with 10" pots filled with clay pebbles and the water high enough to make a damp bed of pebbles. These are 7 days from seed.
Two days later.
The one in the middle already grew a root to the bottom of the pot. The last photo i noticed the growth is "retarded" looking.
Three Days later:
The on in the middle ( root in nutrient solution) has grown quickly. Using Pure Essential Black Lable nutrients. Very mild solution at around 300ppm, 180 of it being from my tap water. The "tard" is growing at a steady rate, and has popped a root into the water now. the first plant is growing the slowest.
15 days from seed:
The tard is now the middle photo. Notice how the new grow grew, with 4 leaves?? The slow growing one is the last pic, and hasn't reached the water below. The following day, it finally reached the water. Now all three are growing roots in the water.
18 days from seed:
Week 3 (from seed):
First photo is the fastest growing plant, photo 2 and 4 is the tard, and the last photo is the roots of the fastest growing plant.. It has turned brown. I was thinking that i need to raise the level of clay pebbles above the openings in the pot lid. Kept a fan on the buckets to keep the water temps around 71 degrees. It had gotten up to 76. I am thinking these are the reasons for the brown roots. The tarded plant isnt growing "evenly and uniformly". It's putting out 1 set of leaves on the left, grows a bit, and then grows the right side of the leaves, instead of growing the leave sets in pairs.
