I'm not really sure about the air force caring more about you, the military is the military. With that being said my friends in the marines were going to Afghanistan for 9 months at a time, the air force was only sending ppl for 4 months at a time to Iraq and feeding you steak and lobster. And it depends a lot on the job you choose. If I could do it all over again I would be a loadmaster, you get to fly around and drop stuff out of the back of the plane or push army paratroopers out. Plus you are aircrew and aircrew gets treated better than anyone in the military.
Air force basic is very, very, mentally stressful. The attention to detail think is no joke, your socks have to be folded a certain way, your laces have be laced a certain way, there is a rule for how to do everything and the training instructor is always waiting for someone to screw up so he can make your entire flight do pushups or flutter kicks. And you march all day long every day or your sitting in a classroom for hours on end dying of sleep deprivation. My friends in the marines had fun in basic training, they mostly exercised and shot guns and did tough guy stuff and then got really crappy anchor and globe tattoos. and remember the recruiters lie their asses off to get you to sign, so double check anything they say with someone who is in the air force.

Forgot to say, I was in the air force for 6 years. Did basic about 10 years ago, when it was only 6 1/2 weeks long.

yeah im not little framed lol im almost 6 foot tall and (as of right now) 215 and by then ill end up bulking out so ill just have to see i mean i only sleep 5 hours as it is so we'll just have to see i reckon
oh and the way im perceived on here is different because on here i just like to fuck around lol if ya'll meet me in person you'd think i wasn't tytheguy111 because im way more friendly and intelligent offline

my dad got asked to join the the special forces and he joined they made a exception because he was only in for 2 years and didn't meet one of the requirements but they asked him and he went to training thats when my brother was born and he felt bad so a couple days before it was over he decided to drop out because he wanted to raise him and wanted to be there for his family
the boot camp(?) that they made him go through wasn't as bad as he thought it was gonna be and not as bad as whats on TV although he said they didn't sleep for a few days straight and starved them

The Marines and the Army dont get into intense firefight like they did 10 years ago so fuck that i'd rather do something im good at like strategic planning (again im a different person offline) or be right into the shit storm and be in real firefights
