How can I quickly get rid of gnats?

Going to put mosquito dunks in. Would it be possible to use too much? Would it harm anything if too much was used?

I doubt it.
The microbe lift is a liquid, I was using ~6 drops per gallon in my reservoir, 100x the dosage on the label for mosquitos.
I would also periodically hand water with a much higher dosage (completely unnecessary in hindsight).
The plants were unaffected.

I think it works by preventing new larvae from developing but doesn't affect existing larvae.
That coincides with a few weeks where it doesn't appear to be working.
I was just about ready to try h2o2.
It's been over a week and nothing on the sticky traps, so it's 100% effective if given time.
