how can i speed up my clones

I have been cloning for two years now and it takes almost 3 weeks before i get a good root ball showing and another week before i see growth coming back.
I use a powder called rootone with a fungicide in it i have started in dirt, peat pellets, and rock wool cubes i use a dome temp's are around 80-85 mist them couple times a day. Oh and they are 18-6 light maybe 24-0 be better but they are in closet with other plants on 18-6.

Only thing i can think of is to use a heating mat or try out a different cloning hormone i was thinking of trying out olivia's cloning gel see if it would speed thing's up

my success rate is great it just takes a little longer and i'm wondering if this gel would speed thing's up or maybe a mat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've always been a dirt cloner. This past go around I built a dwc cloner, cut 5 2" holes in the lid and they took off. I took 7 cuttings and kept 2 'traditional' in soil. Watching them side by side the dwc became stable and growing way before the dirt clones. I have a side by side pic somewhere if I can find it.

Just a suggestion. Can't know what works best for you if you don't try multiple techniques.

Your temps are a little too high. Keep them around 75 degrees and that'll make a huge difference in time. Another thing I've found that works good for me is in the Root Riot or Rapid Rooter cubes. They have a good air exchange ratio while retaining moisture. Don't overly spray them either. Moist is key, not wet.

I use a heat mat and it seems to work, but I see better results and quicker now that I added an air stone to bottom of tray in the water. Oh also I add Nitrozyme to water and my clones are in soil sucking up heated water/nitrozyme. But the air stone moves water around and pushes fresh air in and old air out. I saw leaves standing UP in 30 mins after adding air stone.

I get 3-7 days depending on the strain. Get a humidity dome(tallest lid you can find) and a seedling heat mat($25) with a thermo shutoff($35) set it at 80- 85 degrees switch from rock wool to rapid rooters get the little six pack holder things cut the bottoms off and put soda bottle lids on them to keep water from going up and saturating your rapid rooters too much. Give them 24 hours of light and one break the day you cut them.(Break= take lid off till they start to droop a little.) then switch to 18/6 give 2 breaks increase number of breaks according to days in dome. Make sure the rooters are not sopping wet spray your clones once a day with a clone solution just a quick one tho as not to soak the rooter too much. And the last step drop me a line to let ya know how it worked for you

sorry forgot to say its very important to keep your root zone around 85 degrees. Also keep water standing in the grooves of the bottom of the hum. dome and poke a hole in the side up high for the temp probe wire so when you take the lid off it does not rip it out but still closes

ever consider aero cloner? I have tried several methods and stuck with this one. It is the best IMO. 100% success rate. No misting or dome to mess with. pop them in come back in 7 to 10 days done. Transplant into whatever medium you like.

Yeah aeros are good to and if your using aeroponics you can do it with the machine instead of buying a separate cloner and have no medium just neoprene covers that is how i have my SD could potentially save on medium costs and waste. Just hate the extra 3-5 days wait time.

rockwool cubes should be damp not wet /saturated from the start. Heat mat is very important also.
