Thats a main indicator. Its best to get a slight jump on that before you get any deficiencies though. If your soil has any nutrients it, which looking at roots organic it does, your plant should sail through the first 3-4 weeks without issue. A safe thing to do is let it be for the first 3 weeks and then feed it 1/4 of what your nutrient box recommends every other watering. Do that a few times and see how it responds, then up the dose to 1/2 of recommended if you noticed no signs of over-fert, or it showed slight yellowing or other deficiency.

It is just as easy to over-feed than it is to under-feed.

If I'm lucky I'll get 2 and a quarter off one plant. Uasually in 60 days. Lowest is 2 though. I love autos, I've grown regs and I like those too. But, autos are very much efficient for my life style. I'm very glad I found that blog on autos 3+ years ago.. Changed my life.... Tell me the name of the MG nutes?

Actually, I think it's easier (and worse) to over feed.
You can always add, if you wait a little too long, but if you you overfeed and burn, then you're gonna be trying to figure out what you did.
 
ganja- autos sound cool im going to try one on my next grow
the nutes of the miracle grow are
24% nitrogen
3.5% ammoniacal nitrogen
20.5% urea nitrogen
8% phosphate
16% soluble potash
.02% boron
.07% copper
.15%iron
.05% manganese
.0005% molybdenum and
.06 zinc
has plenty of nitrogen in it is there anything it should have more of ?
 
petskunk in about 2 or 3 more weeks im going to start feeding it with 1/4 of miracle grow at first then raise up the nutes little by little think thats the best way so the plant gets used it better

Looks like it'd be good for veg. But I would get a bloom booster, for when you flip the lights. How long are you trying to veg?
 
It's not like were IMing you. This one dude I talk to shakes the conversation throughout a week at a time... It takes so damn long to end a conversation with that dude..
 
im gonna veg until my plant has 3-5 nodes are there any bloom boosters that you recommend ? i was thinking fox farms.... oh yeahh i was reading this one thread saying that theres this fungi that helps cannabis get as much buddage as possible its called mycorrhiza you should definitely look into it.
 
FF is good. Simple and cheap. If you get the FF get Tiger bloom and Big bloom and use together. If you want one bottle to deal with, Dynagro GROW is really good for blooming. Top of the line, no shit

The cotyledons should not be dieing at this age. It should be starting to yellow at around late week 2 to 3 when it has used up
all the nutes in the cots.
