title says it all just harvest 5 plants wanting to make some butter
I've often wondered the same thing. I can read for months about peoples opinions on curing bud but when it comes to leaves, everyone says...Err...when they're dry!title says it all just harvest 5 plants wanting to make some butter
I end up letting mine dry.. only outta laziness. and then making a few gallons of canna oil outta the trim.. but really there is not a reason to to so other then ease of use and I dont like the frying sound fresh trim makes when making canna oil...I've often wondered the same thing. Huh... Why do I have to cure my bud but not my leaves?
in a pinch I chop off a few colla's place in the sun.. wait a few hours (during summer) they are dry within 4-5 hours ready for medibles..With my last plant harvested I was in a hurry for butter so I just loaded all the fresh trim into a dutch oven and put it in the oven for 2 hours at 220 degrees. Came out dried and went straight into the butter. I have made 2 batches of cookies and a batch of rice krispie treats with it and my patients and I haven't noticed a difference. Normally I would let all my trim dry in a big paper sack, then decarb, then into butter.
