How long till flower flip?

Hey there!

Here is a Critical Sensi Star and a Blue OG i have been LST and topping/fimming getting ready for a scrog net. I am using a 4x2x5 grow tent and 2 PlatinumLED 300 watt LED fixtures.

Each plant is showing about 30 bus sites at this point. Scrog net is going in Friday and i'm sure ill have it atleast 50% at that point.

They have only been in Veg officially since March 29th. They sprouted March 11th mind you.

I'd like to yield around 10 oz with 16 being the big hope and wish. This seam realistic? First grow, I've researched for years and seams like im on the right track.

Check out the girls. The one on the left is the Blue OG and the right is the Critical Sensi Star.

Ya when I was still starting out, I only got 12 ounces off of a 1000 watt HPS... So, 300? Maybe 1 ounce- 4 (if your new to this).
The longer you veg, the more yield youll get however, you can't let them go to big as you only have 8 Sq. FT... I'd honestly flip them now... They will double to even triple in size throughout your flowering process. However if you scrog and/or LST you should be fine. Good luck bud!

plan on scrogging them. 600 watt total of LED power. I have another 240 watt G8 Dual Spec LED. Ive thought about putting all 3 in there but was thinking that may be over kill. Maybe not?

Yea 10 ozs Is possible.. I would personally shoot for half a p... go for quality forget the weight for now.

How many lumens dows your LEd's emit? I always calculate by lumens rather than wattage. MOre accurate in my opinion. Do you know by chance? Then it can be decided if it's overkill. however, I think 600watt for 8 sq ft should be more than enough.

Well, it is possible, I had a very tiny plant in a half gallon container, and accidentally broke the top off when it was like 3 weeks old (thus topping it) and literally every bud site shot up like crazy! Although, I'm sure hes giving a bit over exaggerated of a number.

Check out the pic at the beginning of the thread. You can count most of them there. If when i flower the way i understand it is all 30 those "tops" i count will be bud sites. Or am i just high? LOL

They sprouted March 11th. I topped em March 29th inbetween the 4th and 5th node. LST into a 4-way then topped those 4 main shoots too. Each plant grew 2 more branched at that point as well in which i fimmed both sides. So maybe more then 30.......

no your correct all bud sites is where the bud is going to grow from, thus why they are called bud sites ;) Ya it's possible to have that many sites depending on a numerous amount of variables.
To be honest tho (at least a quick skim) I counted about 18-20 bud sites that I can see, however it really isn't a concern what so ever... 5 bud sites, 30 bud sites, as long as you have bud sites!! And im sure theres more that your seeing since your looking at it in real life ;)

ya, you cant really see all the sites yet where i fimmed and topped each of the 4 main shoots. But whatevs. I was really just looking for someone to tell me im on the right track and given my grow conditions if my goal of 10oz is possible. We are gnna find out soon enough :) I do not know the lumens of those lights i could probably find the specs. These are not cheap Chinese lights. Well, the G8 240 watt is but that not in action anymore since im running the two PLATINUM LED 300 watt. They are 11 band with IR and UV.

Right on man! So far you seem fine, nothing you can do except keep the environment stable. Give the right amounts of PPM (nutrient/fertilizer salts), 65*F-85*F, humidity around 35-45% Humidity (for flowering) 50-75% (for veg) 80% (seedlings and clones)
and PH the water at 5.9-6.1. Make sure they never thirst yet, drink up enough to utilize what's in it's pot. Dont over water ;)

Ya my buddys been growing for along time and has 4x400 watt hps and on ten plants gets 2 pounds its not all that easy to get a pound
