Quitting is tough but really only lasts a few days of anxiety. I've always had that fear & I go through it, but after just a couple of days I have no desire to spend money unless I just cant sleep. If you were able to slow down that much you're doing great! Only 10% of what you were smoking
I say just stay where you are for a bit, and attempt to dose down when you are comfortable. I don't recommend this to anyone, but, I am. I'm no Doctor but I have researched medical for 16 years & would be a Dr. by now if it werent for a Benzodiazapine addiction, and so what Im about to suggest should get you off of it stress free, but read the details.....
If you promise to be responsible go to an emergency care, and tell them your anxiety & panic attacks. Tell them xanax has worked in the past & it was the only thing & a VERY low dose that you cannot remember. He will give you 30. Get used to it for 1-2 full days and then drop the weed until that bottle is empty. It's HARD to OD on xanax but you can. So, if you want dosage advice please ask me so we dont dose you up to high & I'll walk you out of this. Now, if you think about going to a Dr. to get a regular refill of xanax it will be the worst decision you have ever made. My own Phsyc told me to stop taking xanax because weed is so much safer. The thing with xanax, valium, ativan (benzodiazapines) is IF you reach the 4-6 month mark you will aquire a physical addiction that I have been through, and Im going through it again. Everyone I know that has done heroin or meth got off of them at the same time & said it was a "walk in the park compared to Benzo withdrawals", and I will tell you my heart isnt beating properly right now, and I have almost died in the ER 2 times just trying to dose down.
Please, only use it for what it is prescribed for, do not over prescribe or steer from the Doc unless he gives you like 0.25's which is an 8th of a maximum strength.
The reason we freak out when weed runs out is because we have covered up stress & problems for so many years that they all come back, and we are scared of what we were hiding from. It takes quitting to realize you actually will have far more stress tolerance once you stop (which seems like a lie, but its true). You just may have the feeling to smoke every now and then.
Don't take xanax more than a month. Don't hop to emergency clinics & rack up on them if you want to discipline youself and go through it. You shouldnt feel nausea, loss of appetite or anything, but so I dont get in trouble and my name isnt on a piece of paper say "M.D." I cannot say any of this is a fact. Everytime I have gone in there honestly & (you can tell when Im extremely hoplessly sincere), and they will see the weed in your system but never care about that being in your system & I would tell them "I've been smoking Marijuana for years & I'm ready to get my life back & I quit a few days ago & if you cant even relieve enough stress to ease internal organ tension off of your stomach" to eat then he wil help you, because it obviously wont be an upper causing the weight loss. This message may be making you more afraid, but I promise a Dr. will take care of you, but please PM me what dosage he gives you because I would hate myself forever if you go addicted to it. Once addicted to a benzo you have killed your GABA receptors, and that means your heart cannot beat without it & you would have to suplement with Glutamine to strengthen your heart & go through years worth of a dose down schedule that will cause withdrawals to make you unable to work at all. If youre concerned about xanax addiction ask the Doc and they will even more understand that you do not in fact know enough about it and are not hoping from place to place & racking up on them, and thats more guranteed. Tell them you do not want to go to a Phsycologist because the anxiety from weed is enough & you would never want a Phsyc possibly over medicating you and getting you physically addicted.
Again, up to 4 months on a benzo and there is no coming back for a very long time. I would never cross 2 weeks on a weed WD. That should be a week more than you need, and you should feel 100%. If you are scared of the WD real bad, find a buddy that has a vaporizer & vaporize for a week and the carcinogens that cause that hard mental weed addiction feeling will go away, and you may be able to walk away from it. If not you may want to try the Doc like I mentioned.
EVERYTHING I MENTIONED IS FICTIONAL & I AM NOT A REGISTERED M.D. TO GIVE 100% PROPER MEDICAL ADVICE IN ANY LEGAL MANNER. PLEASE FOLOW THE Dr's GUIDLINES & ASK ALL QUESTIONS YOU CAN THINK OF THAT YOU FEEL ARE IMPORTANT. iF YOU DO GO THIS ROUTE PLEASE PM ME BECAUSE i'D REALLY LIKE TO KNOW HOW YOU ARE HANDLING THINGS & WHAT YOUR DECISION IS. I DONT REST VERY WELL IF I THINK I MAY HAVE JUST SWAPPED SOMEONE TO ANOTHER 91,000 TIMES MORE INTENSE ADDICTION. PLEASE DONT LET ME RUIN YOUR LIFE AS I HAVE MINE & TAKE IT AS I SAID, RESPONSIBLY, LISTEN TO THE DOCTOR OVER ME, AND YOURE FREE!
For real, P.M. me & I'll walk with you guys through this with hopefully 0 anxiety
Peace! (You can still say "Peace!" even when your done smoking. You don't have to be stoner to use the term
I know, I type a lot. I am a mix between autistic and normal yet act normal, and look normal but I type novels for posts like an uncontrollable urge to explain something from all angles, and I know its annoying. I do apologize to everyone for that.
