Old thread, but a fun one. Seeing if I can revive it from the dead.
At the time of the last post here, I'd cheef maybe an 8th a week. It was great: not too much, not too little. Got high often and felt good. Could've smoked more but was pretty content. This last year I cheefed 51 times, about 0.15g each session. I'll smoke tonight to finish off the year at an exact 1x/wk average. So only 7.6 grams max all year. I'm kinda anal with tracking these things. It has been a bummer of a year in the weed department. A few years ago we moved states and didn't have a solid hook or medical (like I did in CA, unfortunately Oregon is tighter with regs and doesn't approve psychological issues like anxiety/dysthymia/etc). I stretched out my ~1/4 oz of shake for a lonnnnng time, and am almost out now. Fortunately we're legal now. I'm growing again, harvesting in a little under a month (Papaya and Northern Lights under a 400), and have a game plan: quadruple the days smoking, and slash the drink number by 85%.
It's easy to drink in Oregon. Craft beer everywhere. It's cheap, delicious, and abundant. Weed is, too--in certain areas and communities. Anyway, that's a completely different subject.. In 2014 I had about 700 alcoholic beverages. That's a soft number and probably a little generous--I drank quite a bit. I also felt like shit most mornings, to some degree. 700 drinks: beers and shots of whiskey, vodka, glasses of wine, cocktails, etc. A little too prevalent, IMO. Lots of weekend binging. So the balance for 2015 is to scale back massively on drink and replace with herb. 100 drinks a year is more than adequate. 200 smoke sessions is still less than I'd like, but could be a good benchmark. Should put me at around an ounce for the year. We'll see.
