I did too, but it's really not that hard. It just takes a few bucks to get the proper equipment, and it's much more of a pain in the ass due to the safety hazard and the need to do most of it outside.
purging the shit(oil) correctly, most important.
for taste and cleanliness of a product..... bubble is the only way in my opinion as it is far easier in produce and less dangerous
Now..if you know how to make shatter correctly. That's a different story.
Vacs are used more for oil you burn. Less heat the better.
You can still make meds for ingesting purposes without using a vac.

Interesting....do you have a pic of which model of food saver sealer you have or how you rig this all up? I'm trying to picture how you would draw enough of a vacuum with one of those things.I should also mention I recommend using a heating pad or something similar underneath the chamber to keep the oils less viscous and to increase the vacuum in the chamber. Once it's fully purged, dependant on the strain, you'll have some nice crystal clear shatter
