How much water durring flower?

I'm growing inside in a shed, I'm using a 1000 watt HPS light and I'm growing 4 plants in fox farm soil. Each plant is in its own 10 gal pot, I have been watering them almost a full gal of water for the last 2 months and they are now in flower (35 days tomorrow)! I usally water them every 4-6 days depending how dry the soil is. I watered them a FULL gallon of water 2 days ago and went and checked them and the soil was already dry!! Do I need to be watering them more now that they are bigger? This is the first time they have dried up so quick. My plants have tripled in size within the last 2 months.
•Temperature- Day 69-70, Night 59-62
•Humidy- Day 62-63, Night 67-68

RH is too high.
Nice temps though.

I water everyday, at lights on. An amount that will carry it to the next day, same time. I also feed at every watering.

More O2 to the roots that way.

What size of pots are you in and about how much water do you have to feed daily? I usally feed every 4-6 days but all of a sudden it's drying up super quick. I gotta feed again already and it's been 3 days, it seems to be my plants are drinking up a ton of the water recently.

Nutes then plain water every three days. I keep I'm pots wet during flower. Let them drunk it up during veg
You make sure to keep your soil wet durring flower? Obviously not keeping it soaked but is it better that way? Because my soil has been wanting to dry up a lot quicker now and I've been using 1 gallon every 4-6 days usally.

I put 1 1/2 gallons through my 5 gal. Fabric pots. pH'd 6.5. Same with my Coco, but 5.8. My Coco need water every other day. My current soil grow is an Auto, she gets light about the 5th day right now. I go water-water-feed, unless the plant tells me different.

Mhmm weird to me that my pot is doible yours and I water 1 gallon every 4-6 days. But I Feed-Feed then water

What ever is working for you. I want a good run off. More so in Coco, those if feed with a synthetic.
Does the size of the plant determine how much you should water too? Cause ever since my plant has tripled its size it seems that it is needing more water now

Yes I keep my pots wet during flower. 7 Gal Pots. I use a count system. Count about 20 seconds of water off a pump and water wand. During veg you want the root system to stretch and seek out water so I let the pots dry up.. then I feed. I use an Advanced nutrient line. Feeding them nutes one water... then plain water the next... etc etc

Every grow can be different. If the plant is dry, make the plant happy. As long as your watering when it's needed, No Foul. Don't go by opinion, you learn to listen to the plant. Have Fun learning. Your dealing with all the factors of that shed. Roll with your conditions.

I up-pot during veg to the point they are just about the right size I want before the stretch. They go into their final pot size. #5's for the most part, some #7's. They then sit for 8-10 days for root set.
Into the bloom room at that point and they get their first feeding. 8 cups, and this will last for 2 days. They then get about 4 - 6 cups daily till they speed up and at their own pace I begin to feed more.
Some strains may require a bit less all throughout the bloom. Nearer the end, (near MY harvest point) some strains begin to need less. Part of what "I" look for as a "close to" indication of harvest coming up.

This is for synthetic grows = daily feeding - No alternating.

I run Botanicare KIND - BASE and BLOOM at the suggested application rates, and adjust for lighter feeding strains as needed (mostly N adjustments).
I do not hit them with a "booster" of P&K.
I do supplement with 10 ml each of my home made Mg sulfate mix and my 6% K sulfate mix per gallon of feed. I stop the supplements around the last 2 weeks before harvest. This allows for better potency potentials.

There are times when they might only need half of what I "normally" feed. Like @rickyrozayyy say's, there is a "dampness" factor I keep them in. They do not dry out to the point of droop or needing extra to get them back on "my" point of "dampness or wetness." The "light to lift" rule of thumb can work well here. If they get watered and it runs through to run off. I let them get "too dry" ( a few drops or a tiny amount is ok but, near the too dry point.

I've done it this way for years. It's something you learn by doing. Also, Hesi nutrients teach's this method. They have an old video, floating around somewhere about it...

By tightly controlling the grow environment. You reduce this GREATLY. I hold 3 deg. in temps (lights on) and only vary 5% in RH . To me, consistency is very important.

But, you are exactly correct!

I buy a cheap Moisture Meter at Lowes, and never let it get below Low Moist. I believe around 4 on the Meter.

I test in various places around the pot, depending on size of container. If its a larger container like 15g or above, I will also have holes on the Lower Sides of the container.

You can have dry spots in containers so I like to test in a few areas.

But basic rule of thumb I just buy a cheap meter, and never let it get below Low Medium. NEVER EVER, EVER EVER DRY. I can also tell by the weight of the container, by gently lifting it a bit. I also do this, but also use the moisture meter.

I will also say I determine how much water the plants needs by the size of the pant/seedling/adult ect., and container size.

If Ive got a seeding in a 5 gallon container, I'm not going to water it until run off. I'l water it just enough to what I feel are slightly past the tips of the roots, so there will be moisture for the tips to grow towards. As the plant grows, I give more water. If I use cups. 24-32oz, I wont overwater until the seeding is really growing, under strong light, and getting close to using all the soil space in the cups. Then Ill water till runoff.

IMHO if you have a really fast growing plant in your 10g container, under strong light, Id water it with 2 gallons anyway, and keep a close check on it.

It sounds like your plants are possibly in mid bloom, and requiring more water for processing.

Now if I keep that plant in these same container, a fast growing plant, and using strong light, its eventually going to become root bound, and will require that its watered to runoff, which is generally close to about 20%-25% vs container size.

Generally a 10 gallon pot, a fast growing plant, in Light Soil, Not Heavy, can accommodate 2 gallons water. 20g pot can accommodate 4 gallons.

I use 20 g containers, with Mr Nice Super Silver Haze, and during the fastest growth stage, but at at 80 degress, they have to be watered with 4 gallons every 3-4 days, in Promix BX potting soil, grown chemically.

The FF soil is Heavier vs Promix, unless you amend with Perlite. Many amend 40% perlite with Ocean Forest, so that's something to consider.

Thank you for all the information, I think I can get away with giving my plant closer to 2 gallons about every 5 days, my humidity sits around 60 and my temp sits around 60 as well

Bump that temp up a tad. Unless you're in the final week of flower. Imo... your plant won't drink as much at colder temps.

I check my plants daily and apply water when they need. And if they need other nutrients then i also use them.
