Follow instructions on nutrient containerNew at this and learning as I go but feeding gets me confused on exactly how many days a week I should feed and water them
I feed once a week and usually have to water twice by the time the plant is of a size to flower. Usually about 1.5 gallons to 2 at a time. However, since the week is not properly divisible by three, the 2nd watering, right before the next feed, will be the lesser of the amounts.New at this and learning as I go but feeding gets me confused on exactly how many days a week I should feed and water them

And the difference between the two processes for you? I use advanced nutrients and all these bottles can be aggravating. What do you use and are you aware of a similar process for hydro? Thank you in advanceTotally depends on what type of grow you’re doing. What is your medium and will you be feeding synthetic or organic??
When I started, I used soil and was intent on feeding synthetic bottled nutes.
I ended up w/ 15 bottles of this and that, with plants that did OK, but hardly worthy of a magazine cover.
My luck changed when I decided to move to an organic grow. I amend my medium at the start and only “feed” a couple more times until harvest. I simply water when needed and sprinkle some more dry organic fertilizer on top 2-3 times over the course of the grow.
Works for me.
Use something like Jacks Fertilizer. It's 3 powders. Mix them once or twice per week and use it to make a dtw auto irrigated setup. And the difference between the two processes for you?
