I wasnt trying to imply anything. My point was very clear.
We USED to deny involvement in actions no matter if they were sucessful or not. This gave the enemy much less intel. Now, it seems that we give play by play descriptions of our military failures within hours of them happening.
If I was an ENEMY, I would take this information and set up ambushes by giving out false information on the location of hostages and then let the military walk into traps. And I am not even a terrorist.
So... Why are we giving out this kind of information?

While I agree with your sentiment concerning NOT allowing the press to do the enemies battle damage assessment FOR them, I sure as fuck don't agree that this is anything new, or a characteristic specific to the current administration. This shit's been going on for YEARS dude. Years.
I sure as hell would like to see it stop, regardless.

It's funny how none of the supposed ISIS hostages had any rescue attempts made for them. Yet this guy gets a full Seal Team to supposedly try to save his ass. I suspect he learned to much and no real reporting was going to be allowed to happen. The real objective to shut the reporter up. Secondly, If you want to go hang out in Shitstainistan, do so at your own risk. Taxpayers and military families shouldnt have to foot the bill for any rescue attempts.
