how to force flower outdoor plants?

yeh something like that, ill guess ill just make my shed light proof and roll em in there, seems to be the easiest way

For sure when you have a little tiny plant in a 3 gallon pot but.....When you have 12 of them averaging 10+ feet each , you can do it and then come tell us it's not that hard, They dont make tents that big, blankets are a no go unless you want fiber's and shit all over your buds and wood is fucking outrageous .... feel like mortgaging the house for a few 2x4's and some osb? Not being a dick because all of what you said it technically possible, but highly inconvenient and expensive, The only easy fix is planning ahead
OP.... Next year you need to do a little research on what strain would best suit you're needs in you're latitude so you dont have the same issue. You'll still get a harvest this season but more importantly you'll learn a valuable lesson for next year ... Last season I was in the same boat as you , I grew some cali orange and it didnt ripen till the beginning of November, I ended up hooking up hps lights and moved them into the garage to finish, was a major pain in the ass. Best of luck

and about the strain, i specifically chose a full bred indica for my climate and so that it would finish fast, it does so in like 8 weeks and they stated it woulda been ready at the end of september-ish. i can spot some pre flowers along the stems but idk if im gonna make it, lamps are def no go for me here cuz its illegal. you think the shed is worth it? idk if its gonna make enough of a difference and if im not just better off letting em go like this?

If you are planning your harvest based on breeder estimated finish times you're going to be disappointed in one of two ways. You're either going to chop them too early when the breeder says they should be done. Or you're going to reach the breeder's estimated finish time and realize they aren't ready yet.

I would keep covering until they were done personally. I watched a buddy fuck up a whole green house full of plants because he stopped tarping to early and they all stopped flowering and started to reveg. then they started flowering again a few weeks later because the natural light cycle had finally gotten short enough.

Just run a light on a timer.
I have a light on 10am to 9:30pm and direct sunlight is only between 2pm and 5 ish pm; prior to flip i had lights on 5am to 9:30pm. Do you think the drop in relative light from 5 am to 10 am is enough "darkness" for it to stay in flower?
