Well first off, I don't see that as a possibility, I follow the rules. It's nice to have fellow pot growers quick to hope their fellow growers get busted. Its a really good way to make friends on an otherwise friendly message board. Regardless I think its overstated about the rules on here once a week.

The fact that people in this day and age still fall victim to telling people is amazing, and in my opinion, if you tell someone your stupid and deserve what you get. Drilling it over and over wont help these people. They are going to do what they think is good for them regardless of how many times you repost the rules to boost your posts and appear "cooler" on a topic board. If you don't follow the rules, expect to get caught. Now that its been said, I don't see why you don't go and focus on helping newer growers instead of wasting time posting rules after rules to an audience who knows them by heart and lives them or the others who feel like they can get away with it their way. How about you show us your grow and how you did it. Anyone can follow rules, not everyone can grow. Put your money where your mouth is.

and subscribed to may of that 5hit's numerous informative posts.
If this thread seems redundant to you that would be best kept to yourself.
It's all part of the information exchange.

I have nothing against him personally, nor am I trying to be negative towards him. If you look at the posts, the only negative I see is the "go die", "cant wait till you get busted and fucked" mentality of his responses because someone made a comment about seeing this pop up every other post by him. I just like to be able to find information without hitting the same topic 3 times per page. Its good info, I will give him that, I am not arguing the importance of the info. I am focusing on the fact I have seen this multiple times posted by the same person, along with threads like "+rep me, Ill +rep you." I just don't see the point in returning everyday to post the same thing in an attempt to gain fake cool points on a board to validate yourself. If its important we all should hear it, just not every other day by the same person. I have read a few posts of his, and he does offer a lot of knowledge but its hard to find between the meaningless posts of "boost my points" that are a daily reading from him. A bot could do the same repetitive posting and we don't want them in our community. I'm not here to cause hostility, rather to convey information without redundancy and learn more about our hobby. If I wanted a popularity contest I would go get on myspace...

It IS serious, and I totally understand the need to drill this into new grower's heads. Someone had posted something a few weeks back about cops watching the hydro store parking lot for license plate numbers. I had NEVER thought of that, but now I look. Paranoid? Hell yeah, but paranoid is gonna be what keeps you out of that jail cell.

That guy in this thread that shows all his friends his grow...he WILL end up in jail over it - guaranteed. Younger people just think they are bulletproof - right up to that point when they're sittin' in the cell. "Should have" doesn't help much after the fact.

people could put in story they herd or just post heads up info (up todate type of shit)

like i never thought of not going to the grow shops in my city to buy my grow items, untill i saw it on here somewhere to not too. because the parking lots could be being monitored by the feds, think about it , if you were the feds wouldnt thats be a great place to start. and in chicago (where i am from) theres only one growshop in the whole city, think about it

i had an experience with an ex gf that made me realize the importance of rule number 1. my experience with her had nothing to do with growing, but more about cheating on my probation. when her and i got in a fight and broke up, she threatened to turn me in (like they would have bothered listening to the cunt anyway, but still, scared me.). point is, i really cared for this girl at one point, and supposedly she felt the same towards me. but when shit hit the fan, i was her worst enemy.

so yea now that i grow, the only people that know are the people that are taking the same risk as i am (roommates). or people that have no idea where i live, my real name, etc. anyone who gets bud from me knows as little about me as possible.

so yea... tl;dr = PAY ATTENTION TO RULE 1

I can constructively add something here. When it comes to your alarm , there is more than 1 way to do that. You can have the alarm system page you, call your cell phone. You can also have the monitoring company only call you or the numbers you provide, and never call the police. They will do whatever procedure you want, you might have to provide instructions in writing. Plenty of regular law abiding citizens do not want the police mucking things up, some would like to aprehend a criminal themselves so they can be the "Hero".

Personally I have my own personal CCTV system that is all connected to a Digital Video Recorder and is on the net behind password protected security. I also have a nice alarm system that sends all communications by Radio link, I do not have reg phone service. I can turn the system on and off, check all cameras, make audio recordings, trip sirens and relays that activate lights and such, speak through the alarm keypad and a bunch of other stuff like control and monitor my PH, temperatures, turn AC on and off etc and I can do it from anywhere in the world with a PC and a Internet connection. Its trick shit! The DVR records all 12 cameras 24 hours a day and holds a total of 5 weeks of recordings before deleting the old to make room for the new.
