I am sofakinginterested in growing my meds that i've been studying this & many other sources for a month or so. Several weeks ago i got a 3x3x6 ft. tent, a 2' 8 light flourescent fixture, 4 15 watt L.E.D.s, a 6" 445cfm inline fan, 1 small tower fan, & a 7-outlet surge protector. The tent sits in a small bedroom next to the closet. The fan is in the attic screwed into a 3/4"x6" redwood board, screwed into ceiling joists. Cut a 6"circle in the closet ceilng. The tent has a top outlet. Its about 7' of ducting from the tent to the fan. Another 6' of ducting to the attic turbine vent. Using a variable speed control gives me lots of control of the exhaust, and ultimately tempature. And NO FAN NOISE !!! The house has a/c so i have no problem keeping the girls at 78,to 80 degrees on a 20/4 schedule. The flour fixture has 4 blue & 4 red T-5's with 2 blue tubes in the middle slots, 2 reds on the outside. It hangs 3" above on swingset chains held w/ small caribinersThe L.E.D.s are in adj.sockets from the electrical dept. of a sofakingbig home improvement store,as is the surge protector. They clamp on to the tent pole pieces and are 5" away from each girl. Used top shelf organic soil,in 4 10" pots combined w/ terracycle worm castings, 1lb. per container. Its been 10 days vegging, and the ogkush/bubbakush girls are lovin it !!! Hope this helps someone out there. Iam sofakingglad i got into this, this, HOBBY ? LOL, sofakingg...Out
