ok... so i have picked up a few oz with seeds in the last few months just to get at the seeds.

i have been storing them in a pill container (seperated by where and or when i got them) and keeping that pill container in the freezer

is this a good way to store them? (see pic)

also, here are two piles of seeds from the same bag, the first are lighter (whitish green) seeds, the second are darker (blackish green). i'm assuming you pretty much always want to take the biggest seeds to use, but

should i be looking for the lighter or the darker seeds? is there a difference? is one more mature, or is one too mature?

thank you!!!

Since this thread came out tops on google search here are guidelines for strorage: Container is glass or metal, any dead space in container should be filled with cotton (absorb moisture)...the all aluminum pill containers on a key ring on Ebay fits the bill. Keep at constant cold temp. but if you freeze in a frost free standup freezer your seeds will be ruined (chest freezer is best). I take my original breeder packs and put different colored beads to code for the seeds...I have one green and one blue bead in my Sannies Fruit Punch pack, I also have a green and blue bead with the two FP seeds I have left. My pill container is then packed in a solid block of wax (high thermal capacity) and stored in the bottom of a friend's meat locker....he still has a deer in there that is 15 years dead.
