htgsupply taking forever to ship

I waited a couple weeks for my stuff. They said they ran out of the nutes that came in my package deal. I called them and the guy shipped them immediately and hooked it up with an extra HPS bulb. Like someone said earlier, they're a small company, short staffed, but well worth the wait. Quality products at affordable prices. Check out my setup I got for under $800

BTW 303, you want to edit your last post because it seems to have included the path to an image file on your hard drive and there is personally identifying information there. Namely, a first name. It's not much to go on, but I'd still want to keep that out of sight if it were me so def remove that stuff.

Chill out,You cant really think yours is the only order they have to deal with do ya.I have gotten all my gear from them,With no issues at all.Sometimes fast and sometimes a little slower.But that is how biz is.They process thousands of orders a day.They are most likely out of a bulb or something loke that.You will get your stuff and most likely something free for your time.

If you wanted it so fast, go pick it up somewhere. Their site clearly says they are closed on Mondays and dont open until 11 on tuesday. Your bitching at 10:21am on Tuesday and they are still not even open.

I expect timely service too especially when I pay good money but I'm smart enough to look at the store hours before I go whining to the world about something.

I'm smart enough to look at stores hours too and while it says their PHYSICAL locations are closed on Monday, it does not say that they don't ship on Mondays. If you were smart you'd take the fact that they take calls on Mondays into account instead of popping off like an internet tough guy. It's common sense that if they're taking calls on Monday that also means that they're likely processing internet orders on Mondays too.

I've seen far more blatant attacks and flame wars erupt on this site without a ban, so while you may be wishing that'd be the result of my calling you out, fortunately, you have little control over that process kthx.

Hey filth, since your openly promoting your site on this thread vs. htg give me a price for a 400 watt system that compares? Why Digital ballast? Whats so good about it? The only thing I've heard good/bad is a guy with a digital ballast provided interference to his neighborhood with one and freaked out when a repair man showed up at his door saying something on this side of your house is the cause...not good imo..

I was thinking the same thing actually. I haven't seen prices on any 400w hps that could compare to htgsupply's pricing with the exception of possibly buying the components and building it yourself.

On another note, my stuff will be delivered momentarily so I'm finally about to find out how good their products are for their price.

Well the interference you spoke of was the first cheap one that came out as the cables were not correctly insulated which allowed some digital signal to leak and make a hum on certain radio freq but that was correct on all models. On the setup a digital ballast is better because...it outputs almost 30% more light, can save almost 15% per bill over a magnetic, it has instant start and no hardstart so it saves the life of your bulbs by almost double. The ballast run silent no hum to vibration so very stealth. It weights about 7lbs instead of 40 lbs like magnetics, its half the size so is eay to place and mount,it auto detcts bulbs so it will run mh and hps bulbs no switches or conversion bulbs like magnetic base and the ballast run cold you can hold it and not a bit of heat so no heat signature or heat given off to a grow room. Is that a good start why they are good.Now not sure which package HTG gave you but Im guessing a ballast,bulbs and a wing reflector? I am guessing but correct me that you bought an hps magnetic unit so it wont run mh bulbs unless you buy an exspensive conversion type bulb correct? So I could get you a 400 watt digital ballst, wing reflecter, and bulb if your in the US or Canada for right at $165 delivered with 3 year warranty on the ballast. I also can do 250 watt,600 watt,750 watt, 1000watt and LED lighting.Oh I assumed 110 current but can provide 220 if needed...lol side note I also have unlocked Iphone clones ,blackberry storms,black berry bolds and pretty much if you give me a model phone I can get it no contract new in box with 1 year warranty but thats a different topic lol oh and xbox 360 systems lol

$165? Not bad. I paid about $119 before shipping and adding the cost of my timer and other smaller stuff. The htg ballast I got is magnetic too, I think. At some point I'll be able to purchase more expensive, higher quality equipment at which time I'd definitely be interested in seeing your stuff. Link me to your site for future reference. If I do make a purchase from you and it's at the prices you claim then I'll be on here letting everyone know where they should get the best quality stuff at the lowest prices. I have no problem with that but I do have concerns over buying from individuals that I am not familiar with. Also PM the link. If you're based in the USA and advertising your stuff on a marijuana grow forum then the federal government can indict you on conspircy charges. There has been precedent for that in the past so be careful.

Those precidents have been overturned as they have to prove I am saying that a particular item is for illegal use which I am not I offer indoor gardening supplies which all are legal to own sell, carry, transport and mail. I would never endorse breaking the law with any gardening item

Yeah but the problem is that they'll claim that the fact that you advertised it on a marijuana site is equivalent to that. They do the same thing when people sell MDMA analogues over the internet in pill form. Even though it says on the package 'Not for human consumption' the fact that it is in pill form invalidates that and then people sometimes get prosecuted under the Federal Analogue Act of 1986. Def be careful. IMO any grow supplier should put a HUGE disclaimer on their site saying that the items are not to be used for illegal purposes and that any discussion of such uses will render sales null and void and result in the issuance of an immediate refund. That type of policy protects not only the business, but it's customers in the long run as the DEA can only sieze their records if they are able to build a case against the business. The biggest reason that they target grow supply businesses is because they know that it can be an easy way to get access to lengthy lists of customers personal information, many of whom are violating state and federal laws. It's just best to be safe rather than sorry, you know? No offense, I am just offering advice from the perspective of a journalist who has seen just how zealous government entities can be.

MDMA has FDA regulations. I just have to follow the trade commision laws. If selling hydro supplies was a big deal then every retailer on hightimes site or magazine would be done in. I sell goods for leagl purposes only and to prove the site ownership they will have t bring in the big guns as its layered and the server is safe so any info they want to try and get is cool with me as they won't be able to lol thanks for the concern though and me I never keep lists. after further review It does appear the dig. ballast has several strengths over magnetic. Hopefully the few kinks have been worked out on the RF and other minor issues. It is by time still new tech. so often new items have kinks to work out. Thanks for bringing it to the front. I know your pushing your bus. nothing wrong with it. Id say after my research id go with a top brand name dig. ballast to reasure the parent company (no china made products/low qlty.) has done all it can to correct minor problems timely and with the money to back research/recall etc.. My search shows that brand is Lumatek with a 5 yr. warranty. HTG has Lumatek on ebay for bid so since I used them in the past with success so I'll let them first shot me a price. You want to shot me a price on Lumatek 400 watter (purple model/latest model)? I am learning a call to the vendor like car sales prices, free bees etc. are used telling me there is still margin in these products.

Firstly, MDMA is not subject to FDA regulations since it isn't regulated at all. It's schedule I and completely illegal in the USA. And a lot of hydroshops and seed suppliers that are advertising on High Times aren't based out of the USA so they aren't really subject to our conspiracy laws. The ones that are, I'd be suspicious of. The DEA has actually setup businesses selling grow supplies in the past in order to catch people growing weed. It's dirty but thats how they play. They could setup one such business with their seemingly limitless funding and slowly pick off customers over time without anybody getting wise. Some may groan and say 'Don't give them any ideas' but this isn't novel at all. They have even setup tattoo shops and had their tattoo artists (undercover DEA or local LEO) get close to drug dealers that came in to establish street cred. This resulted in people actually coming into the shop and selling illegal guns and dope to undercovers. Then they rounded up dozens of people 18 months later. That is how crafty they can be.

The fact is that even in the USA, conspiracy charges are notoriously difficult to prosecute. That means they only go after the top dogs. Having the best prices is enough to put you on their radar. As far as they are concerned, you are part of their problem. In that sort of situation, you can bet that agents frequently pose as customers and try to bait suppliers into giving them marijuana growing advice. Giving that type of advice is all they need to indict you on conspiracy charges. That or placing ads for grow supplies with images of pot leaves in them, which is equivalent to advertising on any pro-marijuana site since by doing so you're obviously trying to get business from cannabis growers.

I'm not saying they go after everyone. Most remain untouched but the popular grow shops with the lowest prices are wearing giant bullseyes saying 'Yo come arrest me, mister' if they're not taking precautions to protect themselves.

Support your local grow shop. I get everything I can there unless they have to order it, in that case I just order it cause they have a week wait for supplies. Since I have been going to my local place I now have a 15% discount on everything! I get things cheaper then what they sell for on ebay or online stores.
