How do corporations exist without government interference, ie socialism? Corporations themselves are a socialist construct.
I disagree. Corporations predate socialist thought by a good bit. Also, corporations, as wealth-harvesting schemes, are profoundly unsocialist. Consider the phosphorus match firms of the early 19th century and the working conditions found therein, not to mention the profit-sharing scheme. Also, how would a free market stymie corporations and cartelization in general? Such entities thrive when there is nobody to prune them back. At least that's my understanding. if you can lead me to, say, a book wherein your points are cogently argued by someone without an iron in the fire ... I'll pay attention. cn

Pretty much anything Lysander Spooner wrote.

Also, socialist thought has been around for thousands of years. Plato talks about socialism quite a bit.

The only book which describes my ideal capitalism, is the anime Outlaw Star, based on a manga.

sig worthy.
What, too cool for anime? Anime can teach you a lot about politics. It's best while watched high.

You can admit to having a thing for Aisha. Although you might think a chick who turns into a tiger would appeal to my kind. Actually Suzuka comes closest. Merufina is just whore.

What, you too cool for anime too? I just finished Nadesico with the wife last week. Like what usually happens, the ending sucks and leaves you quite unsatisfied. Buck probably knows all about that.

The anime are actually hers. Unless you find a babe into anime, you can look rather pathetic. But if you do, lucky lucky! :peace:

How does a single person "own" $2 billion in a socialist system? That doesn't sound very socialist to me.

You're the one calling me not "too bright," yet I know Latin ain't English, El Comandante.
Chavez owned $2 billion? Prove it.... But yet you'd prefer to have a president that spends $1.8 million to fly a chick in and lip sync a concert - did you have a say in it? Did any other taxpayer? Sounds pretty democratic to me :P
