Looking into using some of the humboldt county Gravity and Purple Maxx.. has anyone used these? Would you reccomend them? Why/Why not?

They will be used in a DWC setup for Blueberry, Blackberry, Afghan Kush, and AK48.:joint::joint::joint:

Yup i use it and purple max and I use thier bushmaster also for best results. I add it to my Fox Farm nutes. The combination of the 3 plus my Fox farm nutes has increased yields a ton and the gravity makes th enuggs hard as rocks. heres som current flowers using gravity, bushmaster, bestie bloomz and fox farm 3 part. I also like to add a dose of grotek super H202 in the res. These plants are just at few days over 4 weeks in flower. Good sugar starting, hard as a rock and heavy

good set of nutes that helps. but tell us what strain that is too. alot of your good looking plants are just plain old genetics as wel..

I use Fox farm nutes nice and cheap but excellent. the strain in the picture is the original plant used when Bubble gum was created. It doesnt have a name really just names we have called it as it was a cross of pure indicas thewn used as the mom that created the original bubblegum plant from Ohio over 2 decades ago. It was given to a frind of the man who created it and the only way to get is is to know someone who knew them and I knew a guy who got it from a realitive of that guy about 8 years agao. and just a handful of people were given it to keep it going.

1/2 strength dosage!!!!!!
the shit is REALLY strong. full strength kills most plants. i use the BM and Gravity both at about 1/3 the recomended strength and love the results.

Thats weird as I have never had seen gravity burn anything as its just a simple seaweed kelp and complex carbohydrate mix which won't burn anything. You guys sure your not thinking to purple maxx from Humbodlts county as thats a hotmix you have to be careful with as it says on the bottle a little goes a long way. the gravfity has no warning and I use little more then suggested doses without any issues

i guess i just assumed it was as hot as the rest of thier trio of additives. the other two are hot as hell.

Yeah purple max and bushmaster you gotta watch I use right at the recomended dosage in hydro and aero but run it only 2 days max never 3 days

When do you start adding gravity to your res? I noticed on the bottle it's like 2-3 weeks before the flush period

then you need to re-read the bottle because that isnt what it says at all.

it says to use it 3 wks before finish. flushing is a matter of opinion

i use it 3 wks before i harvest.

No its about 3 weeks into flowering at each res change then in hydro you flush for like 3 days

i have my bottle right in front of me. "use 1 tsp per gallon of water and apply for 2 consecutive waterings beginning 3 weeks before the end of flowering."

have you tried it both ways and found that it works better 3 weeks into flowering as opposed to 3 weeks from finish?

Sorry should have clearified for me 3 weeks in is 3 weeks from harvest so I add at week 3 end and at week 4 start and then just nutes for week 6 and for a 3 day flush at end

yup use all of them and also use the Fox Farm additives/ bestie bloomz, cha ching and open seasame.. The purple max works good too just very hot. I see it kinda kicks my plants ass for few days then it show results in a week or so. Seems to add almost double the sites and the bushmaster is great it stops verticle growth right away maybe inch or 2 upward after treatment then bushes kick in. The gravity is my favorite flower hardner mixed with beastie bloomz

yeah, i LOVE the BM. i cant believe more people dont use it.

im new to sativa growing but have a couple in the works. how do they do with the BM?

were gonna find out real soon. i have a new NLxNYC D cross that was real tall and lanky from seed, obviously sativa dominant. i have a clone of her i topped twice in veg and did the BM treatment to, shes at week 1 of flower now.

post up how it does. I always grow either pure indica or indica heavy although I do grow Paradise seeds Sweet Purple which has a good bit of sativa in it but havent used the Bushmaster on it yet. Next new strain I will grow will be The Black by BCBUDDepot or maybe Great White Shark from GreenHouse
