Day 28

The stretch is over and they are stacking now. No signs of any issues so far, so I think they'll be OK. It's getting cold out there, hitting 62ish at lights off which sucks, but they seem to be OK with it. Not much more to report with this batch.

I harvested the last batch of glue from the sea of green, had a little spider mite damage but not too bad, ended up chopping them at 63 days to avoid any issues getting worse. By far the most terpiest, greasiest batch yet and am very happy :) came out straight fiyahhhhh :) was super easy to deleaf other than my hands getting completely caked in grease and resin :p

The glue s1's, now these I am getting excited for. I'm hoping one of them will take the place of the glue. They have great hybrid vigor and great structure so far, still small but should be decent size in no time and will know more about them soon. They are getting 850ppm of mostly maxigro right now.

I gotta clean up the flower tray soon and them this batch of glue will be flowered. This time I'll be doing 16 plants. They all have been topped 1x so far and are about 12" tall. I'll flower at 14" I think, that way they can fill out properly, which wasn't achieved with the last batch. They are getting 1050-1100ppm maxigrow

Day 1 flower. I'm doing 19 plants because it fits better. They're much more healthy than last run so we'll see what happens. All have been topped 1x and they are avg of 15" tall. 3" taller than the last run and more Dom tops.

Thanks bro :) hoping there's something useful for the hydro growers out there. This plant seems to do really well in a sea of green, I noticed I couldn't find any info about a glue sog, so figured why not get one going lol. I was totally surprised when it went well since it's a extra lanky plant :p

The glue s1 girls are growing up fast now. I plan on growing them for 6 or 7 more weeks, when I harvest a batch of ghostrider OG, and then put them in the ebb buckets. I have 4 glue s1 plants so I figure the best bet would be doing 5 for 1000w footprint. I'll throw in a regular glue so I can compare and decide the keeper.

The last glue sea of green yielded a bit under 20 zips so not too bad. Hoping to double that this run :) they are super healthy this round so that will give them a hell of a boost in flower. I'm running 1050ppm 50/50 mix mb and mg. I will be cutting out mg at day 25 this round.

Day 35 with the ebb buckets. The buds aren't nearly the size of the sea of green buds, but they are denser. Topping the glue alot definitely makes for greatly smaller buds. Maybe sometime I can try vegging then to 20" and flowering 16 per light in the ebb buckets with out topping them, I bet that's where the yield would pop imo.

hey alpha!!! things are looking beautiful, i was wondering what you use for a tray cover in the f&d table?
Thanks man! I use 3/4" (i think, might be 1") reflective insulation board with holes cut out for the mesh bottom pots. I can't do this in veg as I pack to many plants in the tray to veg and the pots are too close and I like to move them around.. So I had an idea the other night that I want to try soon. I was thinking of putting a layer of chunky perlite in the tray, just enough to cover the veg tray and so the plant roots can spread out and light won't affect them. Also, my theory is that the roots won't grow through the perlite or get stuck to it like they do hydroton since they'll float during the flood cycle and then when it drains they should float back down to the tray leaving the roots covered. Then when it's time to flower I can pull the plants out with a bigger root mass to transplant

Thanks for sharing. Im bringing up my GG4 clones from Garden Boss. next run. Nice to get an insight on the strain. Man I can't seem to ever run more than 600 - 700 ppm on anything. What EC or measure unit are you on ?

i knew they had a foam look to them lol, I'm surprised the board can hold all that weight (if it is mostly styrofoam) with out snapping and it definitely sounds better then spending $100+ on a tray cover lol but that seems like a really good idea with the perlite, I'm going to just do s.o.g the "al b. fuct" way with a 2 week old clone (no real veg) but I'm following this thread already so i definitely cant wait to see if you can pull the perlite off, which I'm sure you can because your a f*cking beast a growing lol

Our meters are .7(700) conversion.
We're usually rockin 1.7-1.8. Or, 1200 ppm @.7
Your gonna love the glue bro. I'm pullin 3lb's per DE light with that cut And that's in dirt. I've been trying to get alphaphase to switch :-D

That's a trip you can't run nutes any higher!
1/2 strength flora series(what I started with) is around 1.7-1.8 EC. I've been rocking that strength with practically any base I've used, and in practically every known system for about 20 yrs now.
Is 600-700 with ur tap, or without? Or are you RO?

it's with tap . Fluro Duo. I think I have reached around 1.8 on some OG's once or twice but most are good around 700- 800 or 1,2-1.4 ec.

Did someone say Perlite ? LOL

F&D in perlite is actually one of the few ways I haven't grown. That and hempy pots/buckets.
I was rockin the Duo when It first came out for about a year or so. It's ok stuff. I get the same results with maxigrow/bloom though:-) way cheaper too
